If you think, that Islam teaches violence. I'll translate word for word, with a complete insight of the Qurans translation for you.

It is due to this repressive and regressive thought patterns that the Hindu and Muslim wars do not stop.

Reading some of the posts, I thank God so many times, that I have a much better and clearer head on my shoulders.

Maybe go dig deeper into Gandhi's statement and find out what he actually meant. But I bet you know it already.

just asking because you brought it up, but:

1. havent there been more wars fought between christians and muslims, than between hindus and muslims? What gives?

2. why are they so misunderstood as being violent if they are so peaceful?

3. why are most terrorists from a certain religion even when some of their adherents profess it to be a peaceful religion? How can so many people go off the deep end reading the same books?

4. why dont more of the peaceful types call out against the bad elements in their religion? If you see hindus, they are there criticizing other hindus too.

Very generous of you but maybe tell this to the 57 Muslim countries many of which are ruled by some version of sharia and where non Muslims have very few if any rights at all.

First tell me which team are you batting on?

You attack people, and tell them they should be standing up for Muslims.
