For Murtasim and Meerab the ring represents their matrimonial bond, it is the first piece of jewelry he puts on her before he makes her wear the chain. She pawned off that chain for a bus ticket, but he still has the ring in his hands, it is a metaphor that even if she walked away he is still holding on for dear life.

As long as she is alive he will find her, he will only lose hope if she is no longer in this world, which means he too will be dead and death can take many forms. The ring of power will lose its value, because Murtasim is no longer tied to that ring.

Haya can have the ring then, which becomes another piece of jewelry.

But you know, Haya is the 'catalyst' of this story - that is the writer's choice, so she will not be removed till the end, no matter what! This, some times scare the s*** out of me, because Haya will remain there. And to keep her in the story, the writer can include the most insensible things into the mix.

Did I ever mention Meerab was perfect in any of my posts? I like her character because I understand her. I never said that whatever she did was right. I said that he claims that he loves her but his actions don't show that so I will judge both the characters differently in the sense that I will judge the characters based on their claims.

I don't agree that he gave her freedom by leaving her at her adoptive parents house at mid-night. What was the urgency? Couldn't he wait till the morning to give her the freedom? The fact is that he left her.

She doesn't claim to love him but gets blamed by him every time he sees her with Rohail. If he cares so much about the life and the dignity of his family member then why didn't he question Haya? She kept quiet because she was scared, not every person acts logically and rightfully when they are scared. I am not saying that she was right but I understand her. When MZ was asking for the property what was MK's reaction? A person who cares for the life and dignity of the family member did not agree to the terms put forth by MZ when he clearly knew Mariyam was in danger.

Everyone deserves respect. I agree with that. And trust is to be earned.

Again, I have never said MK is always right or a saint either. Him not questioning Haya is a problem almost all of us have.

Questioning someone's character irrespective of whether you love them or not is wrong. MK questioning Mee was wrong, him asking her to jump was wrong but the same applies to her as well. When she uses words like Aaiyash and Rangraliya that is also a question on his kirdar. Love or not, that is also wrong.

I watched today’s episode still under the impression that MR happened, otherwise it makes no sense to me… I am appalled to see only hanger and lack of guilt or actual sadness in MK. He looks a little sad because everyone is asking him about his wife’s disappearance. In the promo, it’s clear about Haya’s intentions from his dialogue, still he goes with the flow. Now I don’t care if he and Haya marries. This show is dead for me. What’s with Meerab, she seems to be on a different trip!! The writer has some wild imagination and sadidm to write the story this way!
