The instances where meerab put others above her
When murtasim didn't care for haya, mariyum say in their own marriage, cared only about fulfilling his responsibility, meerab took stand for them.
Despite not liking haya as a person, she still didn't want her to face forced marriage.
Stopped mariyum from eloping, took the responsibility of convincing family despite knowing she have to face taunts, insults for this. Only to not let mariyum ruin her family name by eloping. Though at last she had to agree because of promise & mariyum suicide threat.
She was mad by seeing murtasim haya in village
Still when she got to know about nyla misery, she immediately diverted her attention to nyla a maid over her own problem.
She treats rich, poor everyone equally.
The way she genuinely felt happy for mariyum when MB said I won't get u marry against ur wish.
There is no grudge in her regarding MB double standards towards her.
She was happy thinking atleast mariyum won't face what she faced.
Murtasim thinks it's ok for others to face forced marriage, to loose dreams because he also faced it.
But meerab wants others to not face the bad things she faced.

The promo was a trigger that needed warning. They caused distress and second hand trauma to literally millions.
Only thing I'll say about noran is that it's her writing so no matter how ugly it gets if she writes it illogically then it is what it is. That's her right to thoughts and speech. We can speak up about the wrongs and spread awareness for better future writers and make sure people like her don't get their mess displayed on big channels.

I find I can't re-watch these episodes 46-48.
All I see is a woman who has been violently raped by her husband. Not dubcon sex or the think of God and country uncomfortable sex. The trauma, the anguish, the pain Yumna showcases - the way Merub clutches her stomach in pain and is barely able to walk - all points to violent SA. I cannot not see what is being shown. My brain refuses to reconcile the visuals with the consensual sex (CS) voice over.
Many peeps have given beautiful explanations of why Merub and MK feel regret and guilt after CS. For me, the issue is not why Merub and MK would feel regret or guilt, but that the reactions are not proportional to any explanation I have seen. IMO, the extreme reactions we see do not fit any story line but violent SA.
Wahaj is such a good actor that I feel as if I am being emotionally manipulated to sympathize with a rapist, Even watching the promo for next episode was very uncomfortable for me - I felt disgust and guilt at myself for feeling MK's pain and even thinking how hawt MK looked in black.
I still feel a mix of sadness and anger at how tainted TB has become for me. At this moment, since I cannot unsee the MR, the idea of a HEA between a rapist and his victim makes me sick. If they intend to clarify that no MR happened and clear any doubts, I hope they better do it very soon.
At least, as of now, TB is a nightmare indeed. A MR track in the last few episodes of TB is analogous to:
If Raj raped Simran after babuji told Simran jaa...ji le apni zindagi.
If Philip raped Sleeping Beauty instead of waking her with a kiss.
If Charming raped Cinderella instead of making her try the glass slipper.
It's not Romance.
It's Horror.
Why just blame Nooran. The story and script goes through so many hands before we see the end product. This is a failure at multiple levels - the content head and her team, the director, the two actors. During filming, the director and actors worked to change MK's characterization and take out thappad scenes - but let MR stay. In fact, they doubled down to add the slap and spit scene to justify MR!!!! And please do not say MR is a hook - if MR was just a hook, it could have been taken out of the story completely during shooting.
Acting wise also...I don't want to comment or will be labelled as a hater..because obviously if you like yumna you are a hater an immature fan with no taste..
