There are very few (I'd practically say none) grounds in India where the match viewing experience is built keeping the spectators in mind.
Spectators are essentially cash cows and taken for granted by the boards. In most cases, you'd be better off watching it on the telly at home.
There's a ODI World Cup supposed to happen in the country in around four months. ZERO details regarding which game will be played at which venue so far.
You'd never see it happening in football and rugby.
In a country where the population is so high, people are the least of their concerns. They know that kuch bhi kare, kitna bhi bura service de, ppl will still come flock the matches and the seats will be sold out.
Ppl will even fight for those tickets 🙃
So what's the point in providing better service when you can get your desired outcome by doing so less? 🤷
