This is the ultimate test of murtasim's love. Ishq ki naa ki mohabbat ki. Meerab has to see that yes he loves me and will always love me.

If we think back to nikah day, Meerab puts the condition and Murtasim asks you are accepting me as your protector by marrying me but still you want protection from me. This was because first she never wanted to marry him but now he is the only one whom she talks. She doesn't know anything about love of opp.gender. In a sense naive.

She trusted her parents whom she loved dearly and unconditionally. She was proud to be her father's daughter. But when you tell her that her father is not the one, she don't know what to think and do. She is left with strangers with strange traditions completely different from her lifestyle. And not even given time to adjust. She trusts Murtasim on surface level but not deeply. And she is afraid what he can do. So the condition. She wants to see how much can she trust him. Will he be her protector. She doesn't care about love.

But murtasim had already developed feelings for her. I don't know if he had some lingering feelings before but he definitely saw her in different light after the truth about her parentage came out. He was not angry or rude just showing empathy. If this is a correct word. And wanted Meerab to just stay happy.

Meerab was always the leading one in this relationship. He said yes only after confirming she is ready to marry even if the reasons were not in their favour. And he has always shown that he will be her protector no matter. Even by hiding about the contract, telling she can kill him but maa begum can't remove her from the house or by helping her lie to maa begum about pregnancy. He is always making sure that Meerab feels protected and wanted to trust him unconditionally. But Meerab don't. Not bcoz of her ego or other reason but only bcoz her trust was broken long before by her parents.

Murtasim has always shown her love. But Meerab can't accept it bcoz of the same reason, her parents. They definitely did a number on her when they said you are not our daughter. So to now accept that someone is loving her, she have to forgive her parents. Which she hasn't done. Coz when you see Maryam's episode, Meerab asks Waqas, I know I'm right but do you trust me. And Murtasim too didn't help the matter by returning her home. She is like this guy always said he loved me but now he left me. How is this love?

When the contract breach happened Meerab is left with the feeling of fear that how their relationship will change. Coz all this time she was indifferent and Murtasim showed his attention. She is afraid to know if murtasim will too leave just like her parents and she don't want to find out if she is right or wrong. If murtasim doesn't stay the same then it will break her heart in a way she can't heal bcoz now Murtasim is someone who is held in greatest status in her life more than her parents. So she is leaving.

Meerab wants the unconditional love and trust she used to give her parents now from her husband. Murtasim has to show her, she will always be the one whom he will love and protect no matter what. No conditions, no fear of being left behind, or always giving explanations. If she sees that then we can get Meerab 3.0 and she will be it for Murtasim. She has to believe murtasim's Ishq to narrate poetry like tumi, to dance like qalandar, to hang herself like Mansoor.

Lastly Meerab needs love and trust, murtasim needs Meerab and we need Meerasim. 🤣🤣

Sorry if this was an essay. This drama definitely did something to my brain and after a long time I'm left to analyse everything.
