From years of watching itv and ptv, i can probably count on one hand heroes that were unproblematic, feminist, decent and remained so till the end of the series. Even the so called nice ones will pull off some passive aggressive nonsense sooner or later.

... So now i don't mind the hot alpha bad boys. In fact i feel they are a better option because you KNOW they are wrong and unrealistic. They are just fun to watch. Pure guilty pleasure.

But the regressive rubbish being disguised under the garb of 'nice guys' is much worse. They normalize truly problematic stuff and send out a wrong message.
