And Stan twitter has been always brutal to Neil and Ayesha, when they are not even that bad actors, yes they did faltered and needed improvement in certain areas but that’s it…..they certainly not that worst as these pseudo ppl on that app tags them, Indian television has seen far more worst actors and still seeing, currently not a single lead of any show is worth calling fabulous actor, all are in same category…..

The thing acting in itv is also very subjective coz actors certainly work everyday unlike film actors, so they are bound to falter, not everyday will be same, and tbh in itv, acting per se is never important, what more important is the connection of the character with audience and if any actor is able to do that then I believe he or she is brilliant and certainly passed the acting criteria in Itv, and as per that both Neil and Ayesha even I would say Aishwarya was able to make a connection with their audience as their respective characters Virat, Sai and Pakhi, to the level that we are still extremely attached to this show to even intensely discuss how and what course their characters will take and I guess that’s the biggest victory of them as an artist and actor……

Also last thing, the acting also majorly depends on direction and execution, almost all actors in Ghum are bad, even Harshad included, so when all are bad, I don’t see the fault of actors but rather of behind the scenes people specially director and executors…..

Ayesha is a very talented artist. She is so dedicated & passionate towards her craft. And that shows in her performance. This is her first show! Nobody could have played Sai Joshi better - she lived Sai! From the bratty teenager to a mature woman - her journey as an actor is commendable. 👏She has her flaws but nothing that cannot be improved with time. And she is better than many actresses currently on TV. You are right. I have been active on Twitter for a long time and these "fans" who troll her have hidden agenda to uplift their fav.

Neil is also a good actor only - he has connected with the TV audience. In his own words "I am not a great actor, not even a good actor - I am a decent actor". So he is not claiming to be oscar-worthy actor as these self-proclaimed "critics" troll him.

I have been watching Hindi serials for a long time and I have not seen any actor who was good in every area - they excelled in some and faltered in other areas. Even among the current lot, only Sudhanshu is doing a fab job. Other celebrated artists like Harshad Chopda, Vijayendra Kumeria, Harshad Arora, Fahman have their good moments but are also faltering a lot - maybe because script is not helping them.

So while Neil may have his share of flaws, he is nowhere as bad as Twitter crowd will like us to believe - it is mostly prejudice and sometimes hatred against him.

And the writing in this show is so bad. It is not about being a good guy or bad guy or grey guy, it's about character consistency. And Virat is the most inconsistent character written - right from the early part of show. They even make him flip flop within a track many times! So given the rough deal his character has been given, he has done a decent job as Virat.

Prejudice & hatred are powerful emotions which can make people blind to unbiased criticism.

She's a nice person but that's what I've been saying this since the beginning she's extremely casual & laid-back about selling herself to public/media eye. It's needed in today's cutthroat world of industry for survival. Look at Bhatts. Ayesha's way ahead of the two in popularity but she never utilised it. Or so lesser popular actors than her. Her PR management is pathetic. Her fans on Insta do a good job. She needs to pull up her shocks how to be in media/public eye promote herself specially post gen. leap! She needs grooming, polishing & better styling. Her media visibility is almost nil despite being the FL of no.2 show!

Whatever they're showing rn had they shown it post leap elaborately had chances it could've worked but rn no people don't have amnesia but back then they were desperate to sell real couple as reel (obviously they too) so abhi yehsab fake forced hi lagega when they never showed him miserable after Sai came back. He was shown being content with Pakhi no pain of not having Sai in his life as his wife.

Honest opinion.
