Are most starlets gold diggers?

I have been thinking about this a lot since last few days, after reading articles and posts about strugglers, newcomers and models etc going around with much younger stars and how they get big banner films, hit big league or get in relations with stars old enough to be their dads and how fans also ask not to judge or call it consensual.

Are these newcomers also greedy, want short cuts, easy route and are gold diggers?

Regardless of gender (considering we have young male actors too willing to be toy boys for bigshot producers or designers or actors).

The power imbalance in status and age, money, influence is too much. But are these starlets under coercion, threat or some other control to yield to pressure or demands of these big stars and producers? If not, then is it fair to say they are okay with it, consented and are greedy for shortcuts, easy route to get better lifestyle, work or publicity or opportunity?

If they are not coerced, under duress, raped or threatened or if they have other means to work or earn and will not starve, then if they still develop 'beneficial relations' with employers, then is it fair to call them gold diggers?

Do most starlets stick around or get work due to being gold diggers and less due to talent?

10000% yes. Unless it’s a Kiara who’ll totally take you by surprise 😆 but that’s few & far between. People are constantly hustling & wanting to date/marry up irl, how’re we still so surprised that this happens in BW!!! I see it all the time in law too, how men & women want to be a “power couple”, want someone who checks all their material boxes; all of them are gold-diggers. Well usually.

These women in BW atleast have to maintain a luxurious lifestyle & the shelf-life of an actress is very short comparatively to a male actor. If they don’t come from money/the kind of money they earn isn’t sufficient to uphold that, WHY SHOULD THEN NOT MARRY SOMEONE high-status and or wealthy! I see absolutely no problems with it. 🤷‍♀️ + once they become stars, they only meet such wealthy/well-to-do people. Who else will they marry anyway. Madhuri & Kiara are complete exceptions (esp MD who married an upper-middle class doctor) they aren’t the norm whatsoever.

Bollywood is also a dark place, I think sometimes they date these actors for protection.

Kiara comes from a business family and old money, those have different mindset

At the ripe age of 31, I’m more than happy to embrace the shortcuts of life and nab myself a tall dark and handsome CEO with dimples and pretty fingers. Gold digger? Nah, just broke AF. Help me.

Not really true. Old-money marry into money, preferably old, to maintain status-quo & actually what they have. They just aren’t crass/vulgar about it like nouveau-Riche. Kiara is an exception for sure.

Aishwarya Aunty is biggest example of it. She married Abhishek for the Bachchan money 😆

… Hence I said. Not everyone . But on an average, most. 😆 Yes, the mindset is very different for sure, but they generally prefer to marry amongst themselves. And esp for a BW actress, Kiara is an exception. 😆

U should add Kat and Ileana they chose someone less rich or famous than them. I always thought Kat would end up with a billionaire but she surprised me.
