Meerab's reaction to anger or disgust to murtasim being found with haya can be difficult for me to understand because I might think differently, but What's been shown can be a possibility that I'm unaware of.

Many people question why they run away from each other. I felt it's their way of owning up to their part in the act, which was unanticipated by them both.

Meerab hasn't forgotten how she's been disowned but not remembering how she's been embraced by the same parents, shows us her feelings RN are of dejection, abandonment and a guilt which she's not able to take ownership of. I don't think they have changed the story , I think it was shot like that only , only they were keeping Mr angle as hook and would have revelaed in later episodes that it was mutual but due to backlash they have changed it.

Also if it was Mr, mk would be guilty will finding her but in bts he does not look so.
