This this and this!

Meerab and Maryam the villian? Huh say what?

It's Murtasim who is the issue. He can't do one thing right by them😒

Punish haya and MZ by 🪓 their bits these dirty criminals

Then should have stopped sisters Marriage

Sat Meerab down and asked her how did she feel.

Talk for hours.

But Kuch bhi NAHI just attitude.

Meerab disconnected long back. But I don't get him anymore either.

But no matter what I always hope for safety dignity and a home for meerab. And I'm glad that despite being mad at her harkate I never changed this stance.

Even when murtasim seemed demi god like in so many instances I just knew there would be a crash. A man is only as good as his choices at the moment. He has to still make good choices for the next moment.

💯 agree, murtasim wanted to get haya married off, but Haya's smart enough to evade and redirect that to mariyum and meerab couldn't let murtasim know fully well, how Haya manipulated and escaped the proposal of Naurez. Again their communication gap due to egos. Whenever murtasim came back to meerab to manao-ify her she'd be on the 7th sky by then.

Relationships never work like that, after a while it can make the other person(murtasim) wonder if they indeed are doing the right thing by supporting the arrogance of this person(meerab in this case)

Agree… I was going to say that Murtasim could have gotten her married off because apparently he thought that was ok to do with his sister, so that would be consistent with his character’s actions. But then I remembered that Meerab had herself stopped him from getting Haya married against her will.

( aside… I don’t agree with forced marriages, but in Haya’s case I would make an exception!)

Yes awkwardness is there. And murtasim does not even know his biwi is gone again till the next day.

Yes it doesn’t make sense. Maybe there was a scene that they edited out. Perhaps Murtasim got a call about Rohail being injured or something and so he got dressed and left suddenly and when he came back she’s already gone 😕

I’m still sad we got cheated out of a confession. Everything was leading up to it, her realisation talk with Saba, him missing her etc. I know the story must go on but you’re right, the writer threw us a curveball and the characters don’t connect with me as they used to.

Some please explain this to me.

Suppress the voice of God's creation??

They messed up the ‘fix’. The voice-over has just made the subsequent storyline incoherent. In my opinion they should have done a small reshoot:

Meerab comes back, Murtasim is happy to see her. Maryam’s wedding and Rukhasati takes place in Meerab and Murtasim’s presence. At the end of the night they have a heart-to-heart conversation in their bedroom, confess they love each other and consummate their marriage. The next day Haya does her set-up, Meerab see’s Haya and Murtasim hugging and thinks Murtasim used her and is also having an affair with Haya. Feeling betrayed and used she leaves.

If they did a reshoot along these lines all of Meerab’s behaviour in this episode would have made sense, and they could have just cut Murtasim’s scenes on the rocks.

He means things go the way God determines. I.e. they planned on showing marital rape but because of public uproar had to change the storyline. So he’s basically saying that God did not allow the marital rape storyline.

Fantastic idea 💡

And then she leaves in the morning or noon. That way she leaves safe at least

He could think she goes to her parents but she hides with a friend. At least she'd have her wallet and phone and documents.

This a good one girl!

See they could have gone in so many ways...

IMO meerab was acting out of a state of guilt and fully drowned in deep sorrow of her own making. Hence she could recall the moment when she was refused entrance into her parent's house, but she hasn't recollected the recent moment where her dad waqas clearly told Mb how he's not going to send meerab without meerab's own consent.

MR or no MR the shoddy execution of track is exacerbated by the lack of any dialogues on how their togetherness is initiated. Will we be provided anymore details in future is a question we all have to wait to be answered.

Meerab thinking about murtasim is also about guilt of how she invited this day and how she ignored his pleas. Sometimes we may build unknowingly such huge 🧱 of ego, it may get incredibly difficult to shatter them on our own.

So for them to get back together, a situation which is like a tectonic shift or separation of time which can attribute their relationship a new name is needed.

Vibe, if you can take the pains to, follow up with the posts I've made in the last 2-3 threads (going to my profile and under the TB thread will show you the number/links of posts I've made so far unless that feature changed while I wasn't active around on IF), you'll see that the members here are mostly divided into two categories. One that thinks that there was no MR in the plot originally and it was just cheap publicity strategy to keep us on hook only to reveal later on that it was angry consensual sex and two, the people who think there was an MR in the plot originally but they had to backtrack because of the criticism, backlash and protests they faced. Both sections with regards to the MR or no MR in the plot presented some solid arguments and debates and each side made great points.

While I can't claim that I'm too sure, I'm still inclined to think that there was an MR originally in the plot and everything had been shot accordingly. Especially after today's episode because why else would Meerub be worried that Waqas-Anila will pack her off to Murtasim again? Aur pack off kar bhi diya toh kya pareshani hain? Just because you rightfully consummated your marriage with your own consent (even if in the moment of heat, anger or frustration?) Also, if a child is born out of that consummation, what sense does it make for Meerub to keep her away from Murtasim for 2 years? Because she had consensual sex with the child's father and she's embarassed about that?

Nothing, absolutely nothing adds up at this point and we'll only know going forward as more episodes come up, esp with the way they'll choose to edit, add flashbacks and voiceovers.

Arrogance is right.

For me though, Haya legitimately became Murtasim’s problem when the staircase incident happened. Because it should have been clear that Haya is no average minded person, such that she would heed his warnings and understand his actions ands words towards her. At that point she became a straight up psycho … a crazy person that you can’t talk to. This is when I felt that he needed to keep the physical boundaries from a logical perspective at least. Just like I wouldn’t, for example, keep my kids near a legitimately unstable crazy person.

But also, I don’t know why Meerab didn’t protest more. She did a little but not to the degree I expected for a strong willed woman!
