So, I actually still think that it wasn’t meant to be MR. Meerab would never be able to respect a person that did that. That makes zero sense. She would have just reverted back to her, I was always right about him thinking.
However, I DO think that they wanted us to think that it was MR for suspense reasons. strategy wise. They just didn’t realize what level of backlash it would create. I feel they were going to let us wonder for a few episodes and then reveal that it was consensual at the end. I think Haya would have assumed it was rape, that’s why she said all those things in the sited scenes, adding to the suspense. So that’s why they added those weird voiceovers to clarify for the audience that, yes, while we made it look like MR purposefully, it’s not actually not MR.

If TB wasn’t so popular, who knows if there would have been so much noise about this issue unfortunately. I don’t think they knew how massive and dedicated the audience was to the show, and then upar se that there would be this much backlash to their strategy.

I still don’t see any respectable woman thinking there’s any logic in Meerab finally loving her husband and then him taping her out of the blue.
And Kadwani’s young modern educated daughter was AD on this show!

Yes, gotta agree. The evidence towards a no MR originally in the plot is higher than that of a MR in the plot. The likelihood of the move being a cheap publicity stunt to garner as many as views and ratings is definitely high. So, yep, their strategy failed royally. Kinda glad (keeping the damage it caused aside) because it teaches the channel and show makers to me more mindful of their audiences and not take them, their dedication and their power bring about a change for granted.
