OMG EXACTLY. 😭 That tune and BG suits nobody else but a besotted and lovesick Murtasim khan longingly looking at his beloved wife. Also, kya ghatiya version tha inka. Ugh. Give these two a new tune or something.

Also, what do you think Naurez is going to do? He'll probably accept her is what I think but I don't know with this show anymore lol. Kya pata Mariyum ko ghar wapus chordd aur bole, Haya ab tu chal mere saath, jhooti. I liked you originally before you lied to me that Mariyum loves me and I fell for her because meri toh na khud ki aqal hain, na dil. Ab main wapus tumse shaadi karunga because jo aakhon ke raste originally dil mein utar gayi thi, woh tum thi haya, tum. ❤️

[ aazadi = sex (did I really want to consummate my marriage this way or not?)

khud ko diya = no longer a virgin (gave herself to Murtasim in the heat of the moment/angry consensual sex isn't what normal people would want as the "first time" memory/behaviour that Meerub didn't expect from herself after all the contract-contract she did throughout being married to him only to do it out of anger or frustration)

tumhein bhi kho diya = shit, don't know what Murtasim must be thinking about me because I was the one who initiated it

khud ki sazaa khud decide karo = leave the house, leave Murtasim kyunki jiss din consummation hona tha uss din she promised to leave because in her head (back then) that wouldn't have happened at all and she wouldn't get her azaadi/leaving this way

Yaay, bolo Khan ki Khani, Meerub Khannum ki jai! ]

Instead of such poorly written monologue/voice over, why couldn't the dialogue writer have written something along the lines of,

"Yeh mujhse kya hogaya? Maine yeh toh na chaha tha ke meri mohabbat ki shuruwat aise ho. Maine hi shart rakhi thi, Murtasim se contract sign karwaya aur phir maine hi usse majboor kar diya uss contract ko todne par. Main toh...main toh Murtasim se kehna chahti thi, usse batana chahti thi ke main usse kitni mohabbat karne lag gayi hoon. Aur usse apnana chahti thi, uska hona chahti thi. Usne mujhe apni mohabbat se jeet jo liya tha. Magar aaj na jaane kis taish mein, maine sab kuch bigaad diya. Murtasim se nazrein milane ki himmat nahi mujhe mein. Aisi aazadi se toh qaid achi thi, par mujhe jaana hoga. Jab tak main khud ko sambhal nahi leti, main Murtasim ke saamne nahi aa sakti".

Cut that a bit down a little and that could have easily fit in her solo scenes in today's episode. Damage control bhi thoda dimaagh laga kar lete so that the audience wouldn't have to come out and ask, 'so angry consensual sex, right?'

And now Writer is wrapping up by un twisting her previous twists..
