All I'll say this Nooran and the makers should know better that PTV audience will never take the concept of angry 'heat of the moment' consummation 😆

I think their expressions, the monologues, the scene have zero connection, IMO they should have had an angry murtasim deserting meerab in karachi for her to be doing something on her own and prove her innocence in mariyum saga on her own, then Confrontation and confession between meerasim, followed by murtasim initiating a renewal of vows and the series concluding with an expectant meerab being pampered and taken care of by murtasim and his family.

They had MR in mind for the whole show since start.

Murtasim's reaction makes sense only if he forced her.

Meerab and Haya's scene cut out but we know the dialogues.

He said in the beginning save meerab from me.

Her state shows clear MR.

Because regret is something else

The entire scene was like was set in dessert and the dialogues were like from an alien planet.

Who the #uck cries so violently after that? If it was consensual. They're both in love and married. They know that about each other. Sure they're mad but they know haya and rohail mean nothing.

This was about meerab and murtasim's ego. This time he shattered it by forcing her.

People bringing up Meerab’s dialogue to the guard “khan ki biwi”

I doubt it means much. She was probably leveraging her position to get him to open the gates immediately. She literally looked like a trauma victim. Believing anything other than MR (per original story line) is difficult at this time. Only reason to not go to Waqas baba is that she may be feeling the shame that rape victims (unfortunately) can feel and can’t face anyone.

I wonder if a wandering and distraught Meerab is found by Asim at this point and he helps her.

And I wonder where the Rohail being beaten up scene fits in. It must’ve been shown for a reason

I still don’t think there was MR. They wanted it to show it like that until the end. The backlash made them edit and add the voiceovers.

This is the first time we are seeing ‘angry sex’ on PTV, that too after an ugly fight and an ominous door-closing scene.

I am all for angry sex but considering there was a mighty contract b/w them and it was their first time, they should’ve shown something.. a touch, a stare, pieces of paper.

PTV can’t even show a passionate kiss, and now they have left so much to our imagination. The audience deserved it. Maybe it’ll be revealed in the latter episode, but today was a disappointment.

Meerab’s character continues to make illogical decisions and we’ve no choice but to go with the flow. Hiding pregnancy/child from Murtasim will be a thing one can’t forgive easily.

It’s a disservice to YumHaj. A proper c&c could have been a pathbreaking scene in PTV, be it emotional or angry, we needed to See it. They would have performed it brilliantly.

I’ll continue to watch the show until it ends, but with zero expectations. I love the fanfic on Wattpad more.
