Then even the foreshadowing dialogue would have made sense, and so would the OST - kya hoti hai bewafai - because he left her.

The whole story could have been different and palatable at that point.

Meerab is egoistic from the start specially with respect to murtasim.If she believes he is attracted to haya then it's below meerab to consider him worthy.Meerab is grey from the start.She is not toxic.If she was she wouldn't care for the rest of the family.

There are women like meerab in real life .Its the ppl around them who always have to adjust.They love /hate and manipulate according to their thought process.They are good ppl inherently but it's only to the ppl they care for.Sometimes life changes them and sometimes they never change.

I think even nooran dint know what she was writing when she wrote meerab.She is not a doormat nor a a sensible strong girl.She is just gray with traits that all women possess.And yumna made her human so we feel bad for her at times.

I do not understand y PPL.are making fun of this entire scenario..and them feeling guilty and sad ..

They both didn't do it out of love but in anger .. there's no emotional bonding that lead them to this...it was the heat of the moment...

Murtasim waited for so long for Meerub to accept him, trust him and love him...his dial "main ab tab tumhara Dil nhi Jeet paya kisi aur ka kya jeetunga" gives away what he wanted from his relationship...

Meerub is attracted towards Murtasim but she still haven't acknowledged the fact that she actually loves him...she was blaming him for being a cheater, she slapped him showed her disgust towards him..how is she supposed to be ok with the fact that she had created the boundaries which she broke without even having that mohabbat wala feeling for Murtasim...

They both are supposed to regret about it and react as per their personality... that's what they are doing.. Meerub thinks she lost the battle of forced marriage and gave in finally because of a weak moment...she doesn't consider it love..

I know the editing sucksss..they wanted to drag it as a suspense but had to clarify it with their pathetic editing skills .but they constantly said wait for the story to unfold..but since everyone assumed it to be MR (which even they wanted to pretend)..no one had the patience to watch the future story..

I'll again say this..if they were to show MR as per story no way Wahaj would have got the slapped scenes edited..there is no point in showing a larger than life character if he knew he is going to be ruined towards the end...Yamuna wouldn't have said Murtasim is the only character who is not even grey..and this Murtasim who is regretting right now actually proves her point...
