Just re-posting what I said earlier.

The whole USP of MK is that he is NOT your typical feudal lord. He hugged Maryam after rescuing her - a feudal lord to usko zinda zameen main gaad deta.

MR is shown to value consent and izzat of women even when he was an angry young man in E1. His fight with Maliks in E1 was because Zubair was trying to force himself on some ghareeb farmer's daughter.

MR believes in consent in marriage. MK complies with the contract because he respects Merub's choice and values her consent. When MK taped back the contract in E27, he said that until Merub breaks it herself, i.e. signal explicit consent, he will comply with the contract terms. It makes no logical sense for MK to so brutally violate her consent this time. That is not what the character is shown to be.

And don't say he raped her because Merub made him angry - that also makes no sense. To rape someone forcefully requires a certain temparament and innate lack of respect for women. Otherwise this is saying dunya ke har aadmi ke andar ek rapist hai - what nonsense. Aisa ho to har ghar har gali har rishte main violent rape ho raha ho recurrently. MK is not shown to be someone who rapes women. As I said before, from E1, we are told of his izzat for women.

Also, given the history of misleading TB promos, I will not trust the MR theory

Remember the phone phainkna scene in the promos. For a week everyone shat on MK that he threw the phone at Merub but in the actual episode that is not what happened.

Finally, misdirect is a recurrent device used in TB

The patriarchal culture we live in, our knowledge and assumptions about feudal systems, the coding we see in our local content has conditioned us to think that certain cues imply SA / MR. Like if in a film, a girl slaps a boy and the boy says mein usko mazaa chakhata hoon, we are conditioned to think he means SA.

TB plays with this coding a lot to show how MK is not your typical feudal.

Example: When MK finds Maryam, look at his expression as he moves towards Maryam (see pic). Many people may have thought based on his expression that MK will act like a feudal lord - that he will yell at Maryam or slap her. But he hugged her instead.

The same may be happening in E46/E47.

When we hear an angry man from a feudal set up say main batata hoon tumhe contract ki haisyat or apni aukat dikhana, we think SA/MR.

But this is likely a misdirect.

Instead, we may see TB again establishing that MK is not your typical feudal. He may rip the contract and say to Merub that he complies with the terms not because the document has any value but because of his own code of ethics and his respects her choices and consent, and his love for her.

Okay so this Marie is posting Meerasim moments in her story which definitely means it’s not true right? And she also posted the story which Neha shared that don’t judge a book by it’s cover and same goes with episode that don’t judge it by a promo so they are accepting the fact that they deliberately showed the misleading promo
