So today was indeed the Mandakini episode 😃

Short summary

Senapati comes into the room; only Dhruv is there. Senapati scans the room and says he feels there's an outsider; Dhruv says yes there is, and says its the Senapati himself.

Senapati thanks Dhruv for his wife's treatment- Dhruv corrects it to to-be-wife. Senapati says he's arranged something for Dhruv and takes him out of the castle.

Tara is using the thermometer for Mahavir, and tells him that Dhruv is a good person as well. The talk of her marriage with Samrat comes up, and Tara says Senapati's "sparsh" part was a lie. Mahavir asks why she didn't say the truth; she says she didn't want to bother him. Mahavir tells his doubt about Senapati burning his medicines. He tells Tara that she need not marry Samrat but Tara remembers the portrait from the future and thinks its her destiny.

Anusuya comes telling that Dhruv has been taken out of the castle; Tara says Senapati can't be trusted and hurries away. Mahavir tells Anusuya to send a trusted soldier with Tara.

The Senapati flashing his sword at Dhruv is not Tara's dream- it's a real scene Dhruv ducks and Senapati uses the sword to open the curtains to the dancers' perfomance.

Soldier (same guy who wanted to execute Dhruv btw), tells Tara he knows where they have gone. They reach the place, and the soldier tries to dissuade her from going in (it's a mujra place), but Tara decides to go in.

At the place, Tara is surprised and disappointed to see Dhruv with "an open mouth" watching the dance performance. Dhruv tells Senapati this is heaven, and Tara gets even more frustrated. Mandakini is leading Dhruv away, and Tara is surprised, saying internally that she didn't expect Dhruv to be such a person.

Senapati smirks to himself; thinking Mandakini spending the night with Dhruv will see the doctor give up Mahavir in exchange.

Mandakini leads Dhruv into a room; Tara runs behind them. There Dhruv applauds her for her art, and asks for an autograph. Mandakini is surprised, and says no one has respected and appreciated her art like Dhruv has. She leaves, and a drunk Samrat comes in.

Samrat asks what happened, and Dhruv replies that he loves someone. He shows the mobile to Senapati (Besharam Rang btw), but cuts it after a few seconds, saying that Senapati is staring at his love. Senapati apologises, but says their clothes were too small. Tara is eager to know who that person is too, and accidentally topples a glass, which gets Senapati's attention.

Precap- the same about Tara becoming a doctor.

Alright I'm in love with the show. I've only watched till episode 5 but I'm completely invested.

The actress who plays Tara can ACT and she looks the part completely. The leads have chemistry. I am not a fan of catch / fall but I love how they met.

Her wonder, her delight on seeing the 21st century FREAKING LOVED IT. Adorable and amusing. Her character is such a good mix of innocence and bravery. Hope they'll maintain that!

Really liking the guy who plays Dhruv as well. Seems like a man of a few words and he looks goods.

Not a fan of the family drama but they've only just been introduced.

The lady in white in his family gives me vampish vibes but I don't know, let's see.

If it helps, no one in Dhruv's family really displays ITV villainy going forward.

His cousin brother and his wife display some traits of it in the initial episodes, but even they're shown to have affection for the family.

It's comfortably a non-toxic show. The only outright villain you could say is the Senapati.
