It was already indirectly selling sex for a pak drama standard by mutiple times implying the leads will do it now and cheesy dialogues and bed room eyes. There were scenes shot solely to show sensual scenes which had zero effect on the characterisation or the story forward. All those romantic dialogues and gestures of murtu had zero effect on their relationship. Meerab's potty mouth only got worst and worst and spitting on the face was a new low. Like ewww... How can they show the fl spitting on the ml in a love story after showing how much he wants to be with her 🤮. Yumna apparently not comfortable with intimate scenes( ironically she is the fl in the most sensual pak drama of recent times) but is fine with spitting on face on camera?

That spitting scene was so uncomfortable to watch tbh not needed at all ott tha .. I'm gonna skip it from my memory 🤪🤢 meerab irritates ne here like ik side py you say k ab wo acha lagny laga hy on other side you have zero trust. If we say murtasim didn't trust her tou she gave him no reason to trust. She broke his trust all the time😔

Haven't watched it but have heard the drama had MR and at the end she gets out of the marriage. There was no happy ending between the abuser and the victim.

She fought back after the attempt . So they did normalise the rape there too. She was not triggered after that but the attempt to murder of hee unborn child. If she is shown to be devastated after that incident then it's not normalising it. Showing it as a part of the tortures she faced is okay esp when the guy is not shown to be a nice one. He is a villain and not a hero like murtu and ended up getting punished for it.

Like I said when Murtasim slapped Meerub it was 100 times worse than the other toxic heroes slapping the FLs.. same with marital rape or hint of it. Because People are always ready to make excuse for Murtasim and its more problematic than regular toxic stories

Exactly. What makes it not okay in TB is because it's done by murtu maharaj. If it was Malik zubair then people will see it as a wrong doing only but crazy fans will make excuses if murtu does it and the leads will still be shown in love🤢

Meerab is simply an entitled brat and nothing more. There is no depth or characterisation. Sassi from o rangreza was also mean and a spoiled entitled brat but she had depth and substance to her character. Some of her actions towards qasim was insensitive to the core but it was also evident he means a lot more to her than she admits it to herself. It's not about people not wanting to see a flawed female character as o rangreza was a hit drama but the way it's being portrayed on screen. Meerab is just plain irritating to watch with her boosting herself and expecting everything from murtu when she don't even lift her pinky finger for him.

she don't show any sort of affection towards her husband but expects him to be faithful to her. I would have understood her reaction if she caught him with any girl but behaya. That girl openly said she will do anything to get murtu and don't even hide her intentions but she still believed behaya over murtu . How dumb should one has to be?
