Violence and misogyny is being served on a regular basis and people love to watch it and make it a hit. I never get what kind of kick people get from seeing women characters being degraded like this to escalate make characters . Irony is all this is written by women and watched majorly by women. 😡

It's not about showing MR or r*pe in general, it's the way it's shown that matters. Showing MR as a social evil in dramas is a good thing and should be talked about but using it and sensationalising it and romanticizing it is where the problem lies. TB first romanticized slapping the FL and made it look like she deserved it. Then romanticized a husband asking his wife to jump off the roof and justified it as his passion or intense love. They have always shown Murtasim's anger management issue as a part of his macho trade and a hot character trade. He ended up almost killing himself and meerab because of his rage but the makers put the blame for that too in meerab's head. She made him angry and that's why he drove recklessly 🤢. Even meerab herself felt guilty and he got scot free simply because it's said he shielded meerab.

Udaari showed child abuse. But they didn't show that to get popular or to make more money. They did that to make people aware about these things.

yeah. Thats what I meant to say. Geo has been normalising MR. Normalisng MR as if its noting is not uncommon im geo and it wont be the first show to showcase it. Such disgusting channel. Thats why nowadays I prefer watching geo show after its over.

Lol it seems he does have anger management issues. Then why do so many defend him even amna and hassan with their special 1 hr show 😆. Anyway not intersted in the show. But it did created big wave. Even I ended up watching some promo🤣

I swear yaa, sorry but Tere Bin is just so problematic in more ways than one..Murtasim's toxic masculinity flexing/ dakiyanusi khayalat..and then justification of his slap..and then mere andar ke janwar ko mat jagaao and all..and Meerab's bad manners and rubbish behaviour..all along..IDK what happened to other characters..but when the leads are like this..what is there to like in the show?? where is the subtlety and beauty of noble romance..which Pak dramas used to have? this is just a rundown version of trashy Gul Khan shows..but even there I dont remember marital rape being used as a trope..so its even more disgusting..I need to cleanse my eyes..I watched last few minutes of episode 46..its very clear that they are going to show what everyone is dreading..and I really dont care for the chemistry..nothing justifies slapping and spitting..but how can they show a crime like MR!!..IDK what were they even thinking?? It gives me the creeps yikes!
