Agree, I want to see a change in meerab and in one of the IVs I found yumna talking about how meerab needs to realise the value of people she's blessed with and how taking them away will help her realise their value, so hopefully their separation will take her on that journey. IMO couple should have that contrast and love of murtasim should provoke meerab to become a better person. I really like the way he defended her in front of his mum in episode 12 and later, felt really sad when she spat on him. That scene definitely should have been edited out.

Murtasim has more than once held up his side of the respect of marriage. If you go back and look at the episodes, the only time he has shown anger is during Rohail track which if you think of it is completely justified. The idiot was alone with his wife in his house and declaring love to her and speaking shit about him. Even if there is no physical or emotional love between the two, how can a spouse be ok with that? Even in that rage, he held the gun and fired in the air. He was so distraught but he came around. His big mistake was to ask her to jump. Again totally uncalled for behavior. This is a husband who has understood and communicated his love for her multiple times now.

He did not believe Meerub could do this with Maryam so he held on to his side of trust until he could. After all the pleading he did with her, was vulnerable and confessed his love and how much this relationship means to him, she still chose to sideline him and help Maryam run away with someone who could potentially have assaulted or killed his sister.

Even when he saw her with Rohail he did not pull her hand or disrespect her in front of her friends. He simply walked away. And came home and did not badmouth her to his mom.

But Meerub, on the other hand, has led him on, teased him, mocked him, has heard Rohail talk shit, has sidestepped him multiple times even in front of his mom, his sister, her parents, has never stuck up for him, and now has accused him, slapped him and spit on him.

I mean honestly no way in hell does Murtasim deserve Meerub and he needs someone who is mature and sensible and maybe Meerub needs someone like Rohail - Pagal but lallooo to give in to her all the time, not an alpha male with anger issues.

Haya needs to be put away in prison for life. She is pure evil and dangerous.

Holy moly… I am staying off Twitter and IG... people with big social media platforms, with many followers, should at least wait for the episode to air before jumping to conclusions. ( I think discussion here on IF is different btw - here we are not attacking individuals on a very public forum like Twitter and IG, and we are legitimately having a discussion trying to make sense of things.)

MK is not saint even. He also doubts her.

I won't call them toxic, apologies for misusing the word. But they are definitely not in a healthy space right now.

I will use gone with the wind as the bible for alpha alpha romance, when two very volatile people fall in love it is very important they are on the same page or the other person has to back off in a fight, but if they don't and are this highly strung they become self destructive.

I still hold to the theory they don't doubt each other, but they use others as leverage to provoke one another to get a reaction because they are angry and this is how they show it. Because they are aggressive personalities this is what happens when you provoke too many times they will eventually explode.

So why are they doing this to each other. Because instead of discussing what the real problems are it easier to blame the third party that is soft target. They don't want to speak the truth because they are afraid to face it.

Meeru is upset Murtu told her to go home, she knows she is wrong but she expects him to forgive her like he always does. She doesn't want to face the fact that her betrayal was so huge that he will never exonerate her or love her like he used to. She is an ego centric character and she feels diminished in his eyes so she rather blame him and behaya than examine her own behaviour.

Murtu is upset Meeru never prioritizes their marriage, so it is easier to blame her friends and pretend like she did this so she can run away from him. He knows that is not true but he is afraid to face the fact that she doesn't love him as much as he loves her and her causes are more important to her than his happiness.

They are both wrong, she loves him more and he will forgive her anything, but they don't want to talk about that, they would rather character assassinate each other over something they don't even believe in because that is easy to do.
