Ayooo, I just some some news clip and why the hell is Viaan in the delivery room when Amrita is popping out the baby. 🤢 This aint even legal and wrong on so many levels. Someone please tell me is it legal in india to have a friend present when a woman is in labour? This feels so disgusting.

Not sure about India but where I stay, it depends on mum. So if mum prefers to have a friend as her birthing partner, its not really frowned upon.

Haven't seen today's episode so the only logic I can give is if Keith is unable to reach on time (or is too scared to be in the labour room) and Amrita is fine with Viaan in there- I dont particularly see a 'problem'. Weird, for sure but if they're okay then its fine I guess 😂

It's a pretty foreign concept for me because I always thought you can only have your partner or someone close to you like your siblings or parents as your support person in the labour room but didn't know friends might be allowed if the mom wishes. Kind of weird to have a friend of the opposite gender during such a time but still good to know!

Yeah weird personally as well! I dont think I would want a friend with me! 😂

But I have been in a quite a few labours and C-secs and in one them, the girl had her friend's mother (neighbour) with her as the birthing partner. So it really boils down to the mum I guess.

The point is not only about having a friend in the labour room. Viaan re-connected with Keith only a short while ago & wld have met Amritha quite recently. How improbable that they have become sooooo close in a few weeks that she lets V touch her tummy, stay with her in the labour room etc. That is what I find more ridiculous. Plus Viaan didnt even know they were expecting - so much for their closeness!

Amritha has no other close friends to call in this situation, no besties, no relatives in Mumbai? Husband ke baad seedha 4 weeks ka dost who did not even know abt the pregnancy until 4 days ago?

am convinced no one in the writers team has had any interaction with children -- not even the neighbour's kid or cousin's kid or nephew/niece -- nothing! otherwise, they would be writing something more sensible and cute.

in some ways, I don't get the drama -- they want to be unlike the other dramas out there and bleach everything of masala but then do something so exagerated with this track that it doesn't feel believable or hits your heart.

The PH & the script writers are so confused. They want to fit but at the same time stand out 😂 Stand out was the original thought but it is becoming more like blend in or I don’t care. I am not doing a word to word translation. It is adaptation so it is safe to play around based on the time available or mood!

They should add a disclaimer before each episode - this show no longer has any resemblance to the OG. Leave your brains, logic everything behind & watch the show 🤣🤣

This Reet angle is just stupid. No mom would ever focus on anything outside of her newborn baby. Tbh everything just looks very misplaced in this show. There is no drama, no love story, and the timelines and pace are just so off with everything that’s going on rn. I didn’t watch a single episode this week and it doesn’t feel like I missed out on anything at all. I am thinking of completely dropping this show and might just visit this forum to get my updates.

If this is how they continue I might drop watching it too.
