My major complaint is how he behaved with haya after she literally harmed meerab

She creates misunderstandings, harms his wife but he was like this

He took meerab warnings about haya very lightly despite knowing what things she is capable of doing.

Ok he couldn't throw her out of the house because of family. Can't he maintain cold behaviour atleast consistently.

Meerab is wrong in revealing about contract to rohail, not defending murtasim infront of him. She can't be justified.

But rohail no where harmed murtasim. Like how haya mentally & physically harassing meerab.

Murtasim has the facility to ask his wife to jump, beat the shit off the guy who confessed love for his wife.

But meerab doesn't have that facility. She has to endure her husband's obsessed cousin 24*7, stalking her husband, being caught up with her husband in embarassing positions often.

Her husband makes it everything about jealousy

Haya made his wife reach hospital. If she was pregnant, the baby would have died.

What more haya need to do for him to maintain strict boundaries.

Haya is villian, important for the story is not the right justification for his behaviour

Murtasim is the person who proudly told anwar meerab is safe with him

But not a moment he felt guilty for not being able to save her from haya's wrath.

Instead he equalises haya with meerab by calling both of them ziddi

He expects meerab to not meet rohail even with other female friend presence at public place despite the fact that he himself left her by ending the relationship.

Doesn't give her a chance to explain.

But he feels nothing wrong in deciding to take haya to shopping alone despite knowing haya evil behaviour, despite knowing his wife's dislike towards his equation with haya.

Here what i think is that meerub is analysing the difference between his words and actions.. on one side he said he trust her .. on the other hand he didn't give a chance to explain her pov and just left her at karachi..

If only Merub had FBs about the three other times MK expressed his trust in her AND Merub had ample opportunity to come clean and explain but stayed mum:

1. When he said tumhara isme koi qusoor nahin hai mat ro please in front of the kotha (e40)
2. When he said I trust you in the mehboob ke qadmin main scene (e41)
3. When he said kuch bhi hojaye lekin Merub aisa nahi karsakti to MB (e41)

First of all why did he go back after telling her Tata Tata bye!
Second why go behind her to restaurant when he saw her with Rohail and why sprout murtabish.
Third when she comes to function why blink at her like she is some dream and illusion and when she walks away why not stop and

Finally why expect she will send cheap notes and hug you - when all while your know your status in her life is - It’s complicated .

Then I remembered his dialogue to MB - Insaan apni sabae badi khwaish ko apne khush faimi Samajh leta hain . 🤷‍♀️

If she leaves him today after seeing hug and doesn’t want to listen to his explanation -Then they are where they were . So am okay ! It’s better that way! especially for him - he can take few more trips up mountain.

If she lets him to explain - That’s huge progress from her side .

If she blasts off haya - Then Meerub is intelligent !

And good for her, she can hang out with her friends now in the open. And bonus, she’s safe from Haya now too. Good. I honestly don’t think Meerab and Murtasim make a good couple at this point in their lives, the way they currently are. Their relationship is actually a disaster right now, as it’s shown to be.

As for Haya, yes, I believe that she should have gone to jail as well and Murtasim should have thrown her out of the house for good. Just like Meerab intervened and got MZ out of jail, Murtasim also stupidly prevented the police from investigating the incident. That part ticks me off, since she threw oil on the stairs. I think both characters have their flaws, but Meerab is definitely given the short end of the stick when it comes to character writing and editing of her scenes. I don’t feel the need to justify her actions beyond what is shown, and that’s ok as well. Not everyone will get the same things out of a show.

Meerab has hand in whole fiasco. No where I disagree on that.

But whatever happened, she is not the only one responsible imao.

Yes he definitely has the right to remove meerab from his life.

But by giving divorce to her, not by leaving her at midnight.

Same meerab told murtasim & anwar to punish zubair when she got to know he didn't stop his crimes even after forgiveness

Murtasim is not a kid to not know the consequences of forgiving an enemy.

Meerab asking him to forgive zubair is to not let anyone suffer due to rivalry sake

Same person wanted his punishment when he didn't mend his ways.

Murtasim saving haya from police is for his izzat sake

Both are nowhere same.
