No, I’m not missing the point. She had a hand in whatever happened, which you seem to conveniently forget as well. As if her ego, her lack of due diligence, her insistence on her maksaad and her betrayal of Murtasim’s trust didn’t contribute to the breakdown of their relationship. She could have talked to him about it…she didn’t. His sister almost got raped by his arch enemy who is a dangerous killer, as a result, even though that wasn’t her intention. She absolutely had a role in putting his sister’s life in danger. And by the way, it was due to her well intentioned but naiive thinking that this man was out on the streets after kidnapping her. So that is the point that I see, and will continue to see, even after reading your and other’s views. I’m ultimately ok with taking that perspective. You have yours, and others have theirs. Unlike many others, I am actually ok with him leaving her in Karachi (just not on the curbside.) Meerab always said that she wanted to leave this ghar and in fact told him that she was only staying for her maksaad which was Maryam. And she reached that Maksaad, too bad it wasn’t what she hoped it was, so what else is there for her to stay for, according to her? She doesn’t want to stay in that haveli and she’s gotten her wish. And good for her, she can hang out with her friends now in the open. And bonus, she’s safe from Haya now too. Good. I honestly don’t think Meerab and Murtasim make a good couple at this point in their lives, the way they currently are. Their relationship is actually a disaster right now, as it’s shown to be.

As for Haya, yes, I believe that she should have gone to jail as well and Murtasim should have thrown her out of the house for good. Just like Meerab intervened and got MZ out of jail, Murtasim also stupidly prevented the police from investigating the incident. That part ticks me off, since she threw oil on the stairs. I think both characters have their flaws, but Meerab is definitely given the short end of the stick when it comes to character writing and editing of her scenes. I don’t feel the need to justify her actions beyond what is shown, and that’s ok as well. Not everyone will get the same things out of a show.

It is meerab who should maintain boundaries with rohail (though rohail wasn't as harmful as haya) because he is obsessed with her.

It is murtasim who should have spine & take strict action against haya when she harmed his wife, now seducing him

@bold it's unhealthy. He asked her to jump , now left her without listening explanation. When they aren't even in intimate position like he & his cousin often gets caught with.

He can feel jealousy, insecurity, hurt but the way he reacts is unhealthy.

May be once he gets confirmation about her love, he will react differently.

But I wonder why he needs her confirmation of love to deal with haya. Behaya should have been dealt with when she pushed meerab down. I'd push her down a 100 stairs at this point. She tried to kill meerab and have an SA of Maryam. She needs to be given the harshest punishment on earth

The funniest part is when flashbacks contradict what just happened.

We see Merub give this whole schpiel to Saba about how MK doesn't trust her, aitebar pyaar ki seedhi hai, yadda yadda.

Next time she has a FB of MK saying to Merub I trust you main sab ko faramosh kardoonga if you just tell me that this is a lie.

Samajh main nahin aaya what Merub thinks...does she think MK doesn't trust her or does she think MK trusts her blindly,,,,I was left tres confused 🤪🤪🤪
