What I saw in today's episode was that both Maitree and Ashish kept mentioning friendship over and over again.

Even in the scene where Maitree was dressing his wound there was no any romantic atmosphere. They could have shown Maitree taking Ashish's side in the fight which theu did not. In fact, she realized that it was her fault and misunderstanding was cleared. So I don't think that they will go Ashish-Maitree route unless they wanna take the story to a different direction. But if they do that, theu would deviate from the base of the story.

You are right about the equation between the two is not romantic but the truth is Ashish has no path forward without Maitree. His relationship with Nandu is not going to last long because neither him nor Nandish have any vested interest in her. For Ashish his friendship with Maitree is most important and Nandu is no where in his basic agenda of life. Namish signed this show as a lead so i know he will be paired with Shrenu sooner or later. For now I will just enjoy Harsh track with Maitree or without her is totally fine for me 🥰

In the 100th episode also namish kept on saying uska character scope bohot zyaada hein, he knows the broader story, show has just started. Pata nehi what broader story..Hume door door thak kuch dhikhayi nehi de raha hein...

True. I noticed that too. The scope he’s talking about is clearly not with Nandu 😂. I mean how can a man ignore his wife but does his friends jaap and sulks about her leaving the house? Kya lifelong Maitree Tiwari house mein rehti? Maybe Harsh ke punch se usko amnesia ho gaya and he forgot what Nandu thinks of them both. Ashish and Nandu out of love got married while fighting with Nandu’s mom and going against her wish to be together so where has all that love gone? Where has that sincerity gone? Where is that interest in your wife gone? Since Maitree left the house she’s avoided crossing paths with Ashish but on the other hand Ashish hasn’t stopped thinking about her? I mean friends are important but they are not the only entities in your life. Ashish’s scope is nothing but being with Maitree.. unfortunately that is going to deter the audience away because no one likes to watch a married man running after his female friend even though they have no romantic angle going — it’s not entertaining- not to me at least. Friends have their space in one’s life—but they are not your life. Whatever the writers are trying to show through this story is beyond my comprehension. A man and a woman can be friends- yes but not at the cost of your spouse/ lover. We all draw our line somewhere but here clearly there are no limits

Ashish ko chodo, maitree ko kya hogaya hein, I thought she wud say clearly that ashish my life I will take care of it,tum apni patni ko kush rakho,pyaar karo etc., par nehi she was all smiling and bandaging him.. Nandini aagayi sahi time pe uski reality check dhene keliye..Apart from nandini nobody in tiwari house are stopping ashish to meddle in maitrees life..What dinesh,sadhana are feeling are absolutely justified..

Someone has to knock some sense into ashishs head... I hv a feeling that ashish maitree ko pyaar karta hein. Maitree ko un dono ka rishta pavitra lagtha hein.. It was too much to watch... Shows name should be changed to Pavithra Rishta..

Dinesh, Sadhna and even Nandu here is justified. What she did to Maitree today was not out of line. If she does not like her and Ashish’s closeness than Maitree needs to respect that and make Ashish understand that in clear words. They are friends because of Nandu. That whole scene between the two of them today was very unpleasant. I know everyone is hating on Nandu for being manipulative but what else she going to do? Sit and watch Ashish- Maitree dosti milap? Ashish does nothing without asking Maitree, all I’ve seen him doing since Saransh death is Maitree and more Maitree— Nandish does everything that Maitree says.. Nandu feeling like an outsider and Maitree feeling like Ashish’s wife and Nandish mother is going to upset Nandu. Yes her tactics are evil and not justified at all but her feeling is totally justified. I mean would we like if our husbands are thinking about their best friends 24x7? I wouldn’t tolerate that. Like you said I feel too that Ashish loves Maitree.. for Maitree it may be friendship only but Ashish ka kuch aur hi pulao pak raha hai. With Harsh now in Maitree’s life might make Ashish realize what he feels about Maitree

Nandish is adding more fuel to the fire.. From the beginning there wasn't a single incident where nandish didnt insult nandu. Woh toh bacha hein toh chalega. After nandus return whenever nandish insults nandu ashish remind quite. He didnt speak a word,maybe 2 or 3 times he took nandus side.. Yesterday also ashish was standing quietly.. Maybe after harsh getting closer to maitree ashish might realise that what he feels for maitree is love not friendship..

I saw in a article that Harsh's mother plays a grey role and she will enter Tiwari's house where her husband's first wife stays. Manish Kanna will play the role od father of Harsh. So it is possible that Harsh will start staying at Tiwari house in the furture.

P.S. It's good to be back. Was reading all your different takes on various angles of the show but couldn't get enough time to reply. Even I am debating with myself between #maihar and #maitrish😆but if thought rationally, #maihar shoulder be a thing and they are kinda growing on me too😳but don't know where the makers are going to take the story with this new twist

Nandish was never corrected when he misspoke about Nandu..never but Ashish immediately jumped in and corrected Nandish when he asked if Maitree got bored of him and that’s why she left? Why this double standard Ashish? Even post leap episode when they celebrate Nandish’s birthday and he has a fight with the kid about Maitree not being his real mom? Him, Ashish and Maitree are sitting around that tent and Nandish clearly says he does not want Nandu to return because that would mean his Maitree maa would have to leave.. at that point instead of explaining/ correcting him both Maitree and Ashish were exchanging looks and looking sad like hamara patta katne wala hai if Nandu comes back. I for a moment doubted their ki maybe they will come out as lovers because it was 6 years without Nandu in that house maybe these two got together or something? I felt very happy because I was rooting for them then but that kind of track never happened and Nandu returned soon after The camaraderie between the 3 always gave me the feel that Nandish took them as a family and hence despised Nandu. And then Nandu returns and finds the situation in the house exactly like her mom had described. Both Ashish and Nandish did what Maitree said.. Maitree’s feeling were given most importance. In all that it was not Maitree’s fault because Ashish was indebted to Maitree for her 6 year long sacrifice to raise Nandish but Nandu only saw what she was seeing and made believe in 6 years and the rest is history now. If Ashish had taken the reigns in his hand, had corrected his child, had showed the effort that him, Nandu and Nandish are a family this situation would not have escalated this bad. To gaslight the situation even further Maitree kept staying in the house and Ashish continued to address Maitree as the family member. Truth to be told Maitree only left after she felt humiliated by Nandu to the point of no return… but situation waha tak gayi kyu? Maitree assumed the responsibilities of this child on her own. She wasn’t forced at gun point. When she saw how Nandu hated her presence in the house she should have left immediately. Same thing even now— why be in a situation that Nandu gets the opportunity to humiliate her?
