MI's openers got them off to a rollicking start in the run chase, but didn't the LSG bowlers things back in an emphatic style? Rohit and Kishan added 90 runs for the opening wicket, but once Rohit departed, the momentum got back in LSG's favour. Kishan notched up a scintillating fifty, however, once he was dismissed, LSG grabbed back the momentum. SKY and Wadhera failed to get going, and although Tim David hit a few lustly blows, Lucknow's death bowling was impressive enough to strangle them eventually. Quite clearly one of the best pitches to bat on, at this particular venue, and it was none other than Marcus Stoinis who made the difference.

Last time I had picked Stoinis and Bishnoi but they didn't perform well.

Quite an exhilarating victory for the Super Giants! They have managed to down the five-time IPL champions! MI's openers got them off to a rollicking start in the run chase, but didn't the LSG bowlers pull things back in an emphatic style? Rohit and Kishan added 90 runs for the opening wicket, but once Rohit departed, the momentum got back in LSG's favour. Kishan notched up a scintillating fifty, however, once he was dismissed, LSG grabbed back the momentum even further. Failed to get going at this venue earlier in the tournament did Stoinis, but there's always a first time. Tonight was his night, and didn't he play like a warrior to take LSG to 15 points. With this win, he has helped the Giants inch closer to sealing a spot in the playoffs. Stay around for the presentations folks!
