I joined the forum with the intention of analysing both characters

But what all I see here is over bashing of meerab to the extent of calling her uncalled names, cursing her birth while giving excuses for murtasim's actions.

Laikin jaisay hi Murtasim ki bashing koi start karay tou hukum aajata hai kai jee ab koi characters ko kuch nahin kahay ga. Aaur phir do poston klai baad Meerab ki bashing ho rahi hoti hai aur koi kuch nahin kehta.

You know one time I actually posted something against Murtasim and the reply I got was .. ohh but Murtasim is much better comparing the general Pakistani men. I was like wha!!!!

I have seen people call her spoilt brat regularl. When no one was actually calling anything to Murtasim. Galian to Meerab started wayyyyy back!

Because she keeps on telling him.

His behaviour is like he tells her she shouldn't have hopes from him but the next minute let's her sit on his bed to feed, don't mind accepting dish by her very well knowing with what intention she is doing it, don't mind taking her to shopping even after she harmed his wife physically.

Post jump scene, meerab told rohail to never contact her or try to meet her.

Till now she didn't meet him because of murtasim.

Only when he left her by kind of ending their relationship, she is meeting rohail that too with other female friend.

When meerab told murtasim his actions towards haya are disrespectful to her as a wife in gajra scene

The next day he took haya to village alone when he had other people to choose

No one telling he is taking haya to romance, but taking haya to village/ shopping despite knowing about haya's harmful obsession reflects his lack of concern for his wife's opinion.

Meerab is absolutely wrong in not getting red signals of rohail , not stopping his nonsense talks.

But she always faces consequences for her wrong doings even more than necessary.

But murtasim hardly gets called out for his leeway towards haya both by audience & onscreen.

I slightly remember the conversation between you and the person if this is about the episode where he made her sleep comfortably. As far as I remember she did not call him rapist. Even when you asked her the question she said that she didn’t mean that he wants to rape her. She said something like why he was doing what he was doing when she was sleeping. Then you said that touches can be innocent. But I don’t remember her calling him rapist. If it was not this conversation then I don’t have any idea.
