Yes, nothing makes sense about the separation track.
This technically should have been the happy ending of Tere Bin.
After the Haya scene, both of them have a genuine heart to heart conversation about being irrevocably in love with each other, and that they cannot imagine living apart and away anymore from each other (physically or emotionally).
This should then lead to an honest conversation about what trust means in this relationship and how they promise to have faith in each other and talk to each other anytime there is a situation which requires them to put their trust before what they see or hear.
Then, finally, a much needed embrace and slow mo contract tearing and the rest as they say will be history.
Finally, show us a happy romantic flirting murtu and meerub on their honeymoon. Meesam can come later. There was no need for a baby so soon in their relationship when the so called relationship has not even been officiated :P
