Sidney Sheldon thrillers are the best. It's what got me into the gere
I have to confess, I'm yet to read something by Agatha Christie *runs and hides*
@bold- You’re missing out, hon :p I recommend reading And Then There Were None. One the BEST OF THE BEST!!
I’ve heard about Sidney Sheldon but I am yet to read any of his work. Perhaps, you could recommend some?
Heyyy!
It's the Dark Verse series by Runyx, an anonymous author.
This series is MADNESS.
I have read a considerable amount of books since April end when I finished this, believe me when I say that nothing compares. None of the series I have read or standalones I've come across after this held my interest the way books in Dark Verse did. Each book is a different couple (except first two books because Tristan & Morana are main couple who are truly connected to the major plot) and they all have different tropes. The last 20 pages in every book are revelation crusade. Keeps you on your toes through the end.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Cross my heart on this one!

- I'm sorry...WHAT? 🐷
I never really got the hype over Sidney. There's so much um...how do I put it?
*Unnecessary Intimacy* 🤪
As I've heard and as much as I love good smut here and there all 300 pages of it seems a stretch lmao.
Plus if anything was overhyped by my good for nothing toxic-bullying classmates it was on my list to "never-be-read" because I didn't trust squat when it came to them. 😆

@bold- Come again!!😲
If that's the case, I will NOT read any of his work🤣
😆 okay, I don't like to read romance either but not all of his works are full of it.

From the one's I've read :
Tell Me Your Dreams on Dissociative Identity Disorder or Split Personality - it has romance in a few chapters, you can skim through it. It's not much. I did the same.
Are You Afraid of The Dark - same as above. Romance is mostly in flashbacks.
The Sky is Falling - same as above
The Other Side of Midnight - kinda graphic and lots of not something I'd call romance. But the mystery element is gripping
That's all I've read and I'd recommend 3/4 😆 I did find some of them depicting women in very male gazey way, using their beauty as a weapon more than their brains, although they are smart. But if you're looking for a one time read and something quick, it is good.
