Makes sense, she's serious in the party, but I felt he tried to make her feel jealous and seemed to have been happy that his plan was working well and the minute before meerab comes into the room looks like haya embraced him, because he was anticipating meerab he couldn't differentiate haya's hug from meerab's and both have realised and stunned at the same moment.
