That "masaledani" jibe was extremely obnoxious. It was intentional to belittle her. Vanraj satisfied his male ego by humiliating his wife's mere existence. He was a complete a*shole. So I don't think she was at fault back then as she was really overburdened with household chores. I remember the first episode where she was shown taking breakfast to her kids bedroom. I swear my mother would have broke my face had I ordered her to bring my breakfast to my room. Her entire family was a codependent mess and honestly I didn't find her look worth criticising. It's nearly impossible to remain decked up when u have an army of "nikamme log" to take care of 24/7. Yes, but what baffles me now is her stern refusal to acknowledge her shortcomings and rectify them.

Couldn't fault her at all then. Everyone waited for her to become independent, carve out her own life and give it back when needed. There were some signs of progress. But then she relapsed again and her choice of addiction are the same people who insult, manipulate and take advantage of her. She seems to revel in it rather. Being a spicebox and getting humiliated in her quest to do sab sab sab. Can't even root for her now as each udaan is doomed to fail, what with her refusal to ever acknowledge and learn and the sole focus on forced mahaanta and baseless bhashans.

Instead of learning from her mistakes they have made her the attention seeker one so people feel sorry for her all along ,everyone learns by their own mistakes none is born perfect .
