I think....The jealous angle works here because Abhir is now a teenager who felt abandoned.

But Abhir in the show is comfortable with his parents Ak and Nav .. he would not even imagine him being replaced anytime soon... His upbringing was somewhat normal... His parents scolded him as well as pampered him..

With Roohi, Abhi and rest of the family was extreme... Mostly Abhi though... And her 'parents' were not like other parents... So she might get jealous...

It kinda depends on the parenting and the child in question...

I was never jealous of my parents loving any other kid... But my brother was...

One reason why Abhir never thought about it was because he never saw anyone mingling with his mumma papa. Based on my textbook - Sibling jealousy is kind of common among elder ones till middle childhood phase - about 7-8 years 😆 phir akkal aa jaata hai...

When I watched BMTD, i was more interested in Bharat and Aditi ka love story than Divya Amar, in Kahani I was keen on seeing Shruti Aryan and in YHM it was always Mihika Mihir... And you know what happens after that... Literally no one cares about thesr side jodis even if they are ruined... Heart breaks 💔when they are ruined or actors are replaced...

you know...maybe it is because of execution... But Abhir Roohi doesn't feel like a common sibling rivalry... It feels a 6 year old kid's lack of stability in her...
