Was eagerly waiting for meerab to realize her mistake n value him , but meerab been meerab was no where around there.

Just wish they have the confession soon so that we can see some romantic scenes between them before the separation

When a person forms an opinion while growing up, that opinion stays with that person for a long time. So I think Mariyam formed an opinion about her family not getting her married to a guy from outside the family. They put efforts but she can't completely trust her family because of her opinion. May be that's why she is stubborn to elope. She knew her family that's why she could not trust that they would actually get her married to Anas who is from outside the family.

The same rule applies to MK-Meerab and that is where conflict arises from. Their upbringing and environment growing up was so different. For both of them the reaction/consequence to their action is also different...not because one is right and other is wrong.

All 3 characters have their own set of flaws, insecurities and trust issues.

Mariyam was unable to trust her family which is why she could never tell them about Anas until the situation spiraled out of hands with the marriage thing.

Also, Khan's forcing her for marriage was wrong but so was her eloping. Why couldn't she take a stand or herself? Why did she need Meerab to fight her battle? She had the guts to elope but not to stand against her family and refuse...didn't have the guts to refuse to Nourez. Why? I understand she couldn't leave the house forefront because Khan's are powerful but she didnt fight...Meerab had to. If she would have eloped after fighting for herself then it would bave made sense to me not otherwise.

Meerab's intention was right. She was in a forced marriage (not exactly, but in a way it was) and she didnt want Mariyam to go through the same and she fought for it very hard. Kudos to her. But after a point one needs to draw a line...you can't fight someone else's battle always. She didn't trust MK but how come she ignored the red flags? Myopic vision. She saw Mariyam was being forced but she ignored the red flags about Anas. Why didn't she try harder in canceling the wedding instead? After the Anas chapter, why didnt she try to talk to MK that even if Anas is not right then also forcing someone is wrong??

MK, he suffered the most but he is no saint either. Someone argued that he failed as a brother...maybe, maybe not. Upbringing tends to instill thought process and mindset. In his head, even though he was forced into getting married to Meerab..he found love. He was happy in whatever little he was getting, which is why he didn't realize the suffocation it would bring to Mariyam.

Let's not forget MM were both forced but their situation was different. The backstory is different. And that is what shaped them today.

The point is, no one is a saint. All of them messed up one way or the other. Their intentions weren't wrong, timing and situation was...and this is what life is all about. Even real life. Blaming MK, Meerab and/or Mariyam isn't needed. But now if they don't learn from their mistakes then most definitely they should be blamed. They can't change the past but they can do something about the present and future.

As she told murtasim in mismatch scene, she wanted to have understanding, compatibility with her partner pre marriage.

I think she would have preferred having an understanding partner, someone who would respect her, her choices, her opinions...I think more than love she would value these more
