That looked like Anwars way of convincing MB to meet Anas. She wasn’t even agreeing to Anas, even Murtasim failed to convincing MB but AnWar told MB to meet Anas for Shah nawaz’s sake.

If anas was not in picture the marriage would surely happen smoothly ... mild protest from girls is common in subcontinent but when a suitable rishta arrives marriage is arranged even if a bit forced

I did not say that their wrong makes Mariyam right. Yes both are wrong. The family is selfish they thought about their respect. Mariyam is selfish. She gave priority to her happiness. I agree they never tried to understand her. But for Mariyam, she saw how things work in her family. She understood them that's why she thought of eloping because she had come to a conclusion that her family would never agree to her marriage with Anas. The family put efforts but she has seen the family from her childhood so she can't trust that her family would actually agree to her marriage with Anas.
