Ok I figured it out I think my problem with this shoot is we never got a clear look at Wahaj's eyes. This man's eyes are his game and that is where the magic lies. In the haldi shoot the lighting was bright we saw his eyes smile. But the nikaah shoot the camera angles are distant from him, sideways, or he is looking down or away from the camera.

See Yumna's wide eyes we see her clearly but Wahaj isn't present like she is.

This is what I have also been saying about the nikah shoot.

The nikah shot selection (and maybe direction even) is so poor and we don't get any good shots of eye locks. It is like they purposely chose shots that have zero MeMu signature elements.

If you look at nikah shots, shots where they are both in the frame are either:

• He looks at her, she is looking elsewhere (and vice versa).
• He looks at her, we cant see her expressions (and vice versa).
• They look at each other - it's a side angle or a wideshot - so we can't see their expressions clearly.
• In only this one shot you posted, we can at least see them looking at each other and their expressions. It is not the best angle but better than other nikah shots. However, even in this shot, Wahaj's stare is one-note - it is intense but lacking any inner feeling/emotion. His hand movements are also very basic and by the number - touch her hand, use finger to turn her face. Contrast with this valima pic from TB where the micro-movements and micro-expressions adds a lot of texture to the shot (the wrist touch, the fiddling with her sleeve, the slow slide up her forearm, the up and down eyes). Or this other deleted scene from the MariaB ad (where his hand movements as he turns her face adds so much sensuality).
