This movie has me intrigued..brought me back to BWF..

Never knew this even though visited Kerala multiple times. Yet to watch.

And nopes..this isn't fascism.

Govt is fascist when people call for boycott of some movies or boycott BW in general..boycott not ban..and that too not a call by govt.

This is n official ban by the govt. of two states who r not even mentioned in the title or story of the movie..doesn't matter that it's a state issue, national issue or global issue.

But the word fascism is associated with select few.

I'm not gonna comment upon the political aspect of things because that's a can of worms I believe should best be left unopened.

One or more parties are against the movie being screened while some others are voicing their support for the same movie, for the same exact reasons. Every political party and/or politician will try to milk the situation to their advantage and secure their vote bank(s). That's unfortunately how the world of politics operates.

But despite all that, a movie being showcased in only a handful of screens doesn't outright point to a ban due to political reasons. A lot of factors could have lead to this decision being made and for all we know, not one of them could be related to the political alignment of the state.

I don’t know what this director means when he says most hindus in Kerala won’t say they r hindus. Like seriously did he come to the right Kerala. Cos whoever I know will say their religion. If they r atheist they will obviously say they r atheist. And what’s with the burqa wearing. In Kerala u can see all sorts of dressing. Especially among youngsters. Also there’s a video where RSS guy is talking abt converting Muslims girls. In short political parties r playing dirty games to mask their failures in the upcoming elections. I think Muslims have been targeted since long. In most of the movies they r portrayed as terrorists. So they should be the one saying how they r targeted. Even my friends who had inter caste marriage r saying the other person family think it’s love jihad. One of my seniors married a Christian and they did the wedding in the church. One of my classmates who was Muslim married a Hindu guy. His family had a problem her parents were okay since she was adamant but extended family wasn’t happy. And in none of the cases no one asked their spouse to change religion. Instead of spreading hate amongst religion maybe they should focus on the other things. Cos they r lot of unemployed people.
This extremist groups don’t belong to any religion. They r the ones causing harm and wrong picture to the world. In the video the RSS guy is talking abt converting

Muslim girls but does that mean all Hindus r thinking like that. No. so just like that not all Muslims r terrorists. But the amount of hate that has been in peoples mind I think soon we wud go back to British rule where they were using divide and rule policy also about the ban I live in Calicut where’s there’s lot of Muslim population and the movie is running in theatres and no one is fighting with anyone. Let’s not forget how people had problem when Deepika wore orange bikini cos that was hurting their religious sentiments and wanted to ban pathan. So when there’s a movie which says this is abt Kerala there will be people who will be hurt cos this isn’t relatable to them
