Boi won’t give this tag to this movie I doubt but yes it’s doing well n will get hit tag. I get they want more people to see the movie so they hyping it.

Other thing they should have given this movie much wider release it would even overtake pathan based on sources like Kashmir files trended well too.

They should make more movies like this one and Caliphate, women need to open their eyes.

Business in the second week is going to be even more than the first week. It's the Kantara of 2023. The audence is showering love everywhere. What a trending. What an achievement. Mega blockbuster.

The Kerala Story had an extraordinary hold on Monday with collections being almost 50% higher than the first day and similar to Saturday. There were many centres in mass pockets where the collections were better than Saturday. The film is on a run in Mumbai, Central India, UP, Bihar and Bangalore is also outstanding. .

After issues in Tamil Nadu and Kerala the film was banned in West Bengal and is out of theatres there and it was doing extremely well. Irrespective of content the film was passed by the censor board so should not really be getting banned like this. If a film is to be banned its down to censor board to not to pass the film and here the green light was given so you leave it with the audience.

The film will not have collections from West Bengal but all this does is build more intrigue with the audience and the fear other states may ban brings more people to the theatres. The film is basically unstoppable and could go anywhere from here. The total on the board is already 43 crore nett and it will be no surprise if the second week is as good as week one or even better and that is with West Bengal out of the equation. The four day collections of The Kerala Story are as follows.

Friday - 6,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 10,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 16,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 10,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 43,25,00,000 apprx

Last year RRR ended Kashmir Files run really fast because it just released two weeks later and was a very anticipated movie. Otherwise the way TKF was trending, people expected it to be the highest grossing movie of all time beating Dangal.

Fortunately for Kerala Story, no big movie is coming this month. Even next month, Jawan got postponed, Across The Spider-Verse, Adipurush and The Flash can surprise but chances are unlikely. This movie is getting a solo run minimum for a month, and maximum for two months till Kartik's movie. It can go anywhere.
