Imagine if she writes a submissive woman character....she will probably make her speak 5 lines and cry in buckets in entire 50 episodes.

But honestly owning properties doesn't make a person rich since properties are tangible assets, you will get money only when you sold them and in these fuedal system noone really sell those.

Can someone explain this to me? Meerab’s father said something about giving her property during the Upton/ mehendi scene. And now she’s married to Murtasim. But is that property immediately hers… or is it her father’s property that goes to her when he passes? See what I’m trying to figure out? Did her dad give her the property right away, or just put it in his will for when he passes? (Does she own the 50% now while he is alive.)

And same with Meerab and Murtasim’s marriage. In PK would she be entitled to his property as his wife or would it have to be specifically allotted to her.

Not asking for legal specifics necessarily, just trying to figure out whether she could actually jatao her property rights here or not.

But isn’t it true? Nowadays girls consider this as independence, my cousin brother makes fun of his sister by saying that after marriage she will cook only for herself and her MIL and not for her husband and FIL because according to her men should cook their own food and she always refused to cook for her brother and father on this ground that they have two hands and can do cooking and household work, because of her this attitude he makes fun of every girl by claiming that they are pseudo feminist whenever a girl argues with him on this basis
