I felt the same. And i feel it's much needed reality check for akshu. Currently abhi is stopping himself considering abhir's health and akshu is emotionally manipulating him. It could be intentionally or unintentionally only writer can tell. But her asking abhi to choose between abhir and roohi looked odd to me. She even used words like your existence do not affect my son. I feel abhir will fall ill without talking to docman.

Abhi is already in guilt trip. He is not even sure how to keep everyone happy. But manju being his mother choose his happiness over others as she clearly knows he will be sacrificing for everyone else including those who never ever cared for him as by looking precap akshu must have said she is not guilty hiding such truth from abhi.
