Ok. Can I just say, this sar pe haath lagana is just such a beautiful thing in our south Asian culture.

Despite Maryam’s stupidity, I really felt that scene where she bowed her head to get her mom and brother’s blessings… it actually brought tears to my eyes. I know we see it commonly in these shows etc. But it’s not at all common here in the west. It just expresses so much love and more, coming from the right people.

I have a friend who loved painting sketching. Left it due to reasons.....but still had books full of their work.

She really thought she did something with wildlife pictures sooo random 😆

But his seating area does have some things if you noticed...hunting stuff that is !

I think she grew up with the men in her family being shikaris. But maybe read on Tumblr how cool it was to be a wildlife photographer. So she made a kichudi of both opposites 🤣
