AGREE. I have personal experience with this, so maybe that’s why Meerab’s turn of character has really irked me. Some people close to me have ruined the lives of others around them, because their focus was just on what they personally felt was the right thing to do, and the right way to live their life. But, we are not islands unto ourselves. Especially in many Asian cultures (and others). Their actions have consequences on others. Others have to foot the bills of life, while they live in their la la land. It has made parts of my life hell, and I am still angry about their decisions and how it has affected my family. Things could have been done in a different way, to get to the same destination. Those people have what they wanted now, but only in that respect, and at what cost to others.

My issue isn't with her family finding her a man but with them forcing her.

A) forcing her to get married (before Anas revelation)

B) after the Anas is not a good guy, not a good family instead of giving her time to get over him, or just heal they pressurized her to get married in 6 days

I just have a problem with people forcing their decisions on others.

Let's take Murtasim's case...is it fair on him? We know Meerub loves him but to be fair, what if it was someone like Haya or someone like Maheer or anyone for that matter who didn't want to get married...who wouldnt give her 100%

100% agree with you guys. The guy need to be suitable and no way I am justifying what’s happening in show is good!! Bcs in reality your parents ask if he or she any good for you??

Idk about others but I have a very conservative family (alhamdulliah) our deen is our 1st priority!

however I have seen, few , actually quit few now ! They finished education has great jobs. Girls r already reaching 30 or now over, who has been rejecting men’s after men’s. Bcs they didn’t like any and now they don’t even get proposal! Now they r regretting oh why I said no!

Idk if you guys experienced that but I have seen lots and now family is straggling to find someone. And also Bcs they have been so busy in their life they can’t even find someone.

mens has a good time span to be married even in there 30s they can find girls but it’s not the case for girls!

Guys often choose the hottest girl that would take them and girls choose looks/ career in a guy. They sacrifice basic compatibility . Hence divorce.

Meerab is a prime example. MK might be head over heels in love with her but she’s not good for him on any shape or form. But he’s too in love to realize that their relationship is becoming toxic ( come at me with your pitchforks this time)

They have 0 compatibility as of now. And one thing which is very imp in any relationship is communication....even today Murtasim shared his past, his side of the story, he shared his vulnerable side but I have never seen Meerub do that.

In rl, I don't think a relationship like theirs would survive....the only reason I still want them together is because it's a drama but in rl, I agree it is toxic and wouldn't really survive.
