yes the way SRK blatantly screamed after it's success THIS IS A PERSONAL VICTORY, so yeah things got personal with this routine action movie that does not even have a coherent story.

People whoever saw Patthan were disappointed excluding his die hard fans, we saw it just due to curiosity and were bitterly disappointed... people ain't spending the money on another trash after Patthan on one just after a few weeks that does not even look like a seriously made movie due to its senseless stupid title KKBKKJ and the meme worthy dance steps... its promos acted more like harmful things that let people not watch it then to promote it, apart from the title which acted as a self sabotage for the movie

Pathaan was SRK's comeback after 4 years, it was always going to be a massive earner from that alone. not to mention the fact that it was a action packed movie with blockbuster songs in Besharam Rang and Jhoome jo Pathaan. the fact that it earned so much on a non holiday was very surprising though, SRK's stardom has no bounds.

KKBKKJ was doomed from the title itself and the wig Salman wore didn't help, people didn't give it a chance, i enjoyed the movie itself though. it is a big under performer for an Eid release which is a shame.

they were both trash

Pathaan made money because of Beshram Rang and Deepika's bikini controversy. and maybe because SRK hadn't had a release since his huge all time disaster Zero in 2018

KKBKKJ was just trash all over, there is a reason his last 5 films have been disasters. Salman is finished.
