Shiva is shown busy complaining to his family about them not having gotten him married but not even once shown trying to figure out the past or clear his confusions / suspicions regarding things. And he isn't just eager to marry, but willing to marry the first person who comes along. Can't believe they showed him flirting with a complete stranger.

True, but getting their daughter back after 7 long years and her recently having undergone a major operation would be good enough reasons for her parents to be fawning over her. That would be sensible and much more palatable than what they are currently showing.

They refuse to focus on Raavi's situation unless they want to insert so-called 'comedic' scenes of Shiva questioning her and Dev or him pushing them together. Everything else is just stuck in a limbo.

They gave chhutki’s looooong scene with mother of all Bhabhi, she cuddled with her, talked with her, sang with her.

I didn't think they would actually take it so far. Unless they later on show that he was doing all this because he was suspicious and wanted to get the truth out of them, why make him act so out of character. He wasn't someone who was shown to have ever desired to lead a married life.

It's sad how the parents are completely sidelined from their own children's lives. Normally they would be shown extra doting, protective and cautious after something like that, but here it's as if nothing happened. The past seven years just disappeared so easily.
