Mohnish’s Ashutosh was more grounded and a little more mature i felt like, sharad’ ashutosh definitely had a chip on his shoulder. But it was a sweet, well rounded show ❤️

Yes it was Sharad Kelkar.
I wanted to watch after Mohnish left but just could not connect with replacement so did not watch just keep rewatching up to his last episode.

yes absolutely loved it and had watched repeatedly also.

The reason I did not watch Ankahi was someone mentioned it was very tragic . If it is not then I can try

So it depends which character you like out of the triangle. Some will love the end and some will feel sad but thats why its so beautifully done by the writer in a realistic way that you are left conflicted a bit which is what life is

But it only gets serious towards the end otherwise it is a lot of fun especially the first 8 episodes and i think there is only total of 14 15 maybe

I want to start by congratulating "us" that we finally had a good week of episodes where story flow, direction, performances and plot has been worthwhile warna every alternate day yahan trolling session start hojata tha

This episode hands down belonged to four people for me for performances - Dev, Amba, Kaushik (new friend) and The police inspector

1. Iqbal outshone everyone today! The entire office sequence with Kaushik was very well executed with correct amount of fun and seriousness needed. The part where Amba goes out and sits next to Dev making him feel uncomfortable was so on point with their characters. When amba said "Dev tum apne buron karmon ka bhugad rahe ho iss janam main" and Dev's nod was very symbolic because eventually that is what will happen with Amba and the head turn after Amba gets up and leaves was The Dev Raichad we all love. He is ready to strike back with full force and i cant wait for it

There was no screaming or punching and yet Iqbal was shining with his performance. I am glad everything is being planned by him, even the Chitra part and that Vidhi is able to sensibly execute it for him

2. Senha deserves all the applause and appreciation for depicting Amba so well. Her switch between an obsessive lover and vengeful woman is so perfect that just the change in her eye movement and eyebrows tell us which mode she is in. But for sure yeh pyaar nahin hai balke Amba ki zidd hai ke usko Dev chahiye. Love liberates people but Amba is trapped. I love reading the discussions you all wrote about how male harassment is not taken seriously and what she is doing is exactly that so addressing this would be a bonus for us in the show. Few episodes back what Vijay said about Seema was harassment too so if they can highlight all this when this track concludes regardless of gender, i will be very pleased

3. Kaushik so far is a genuine friend and his dialogue to Dev "ke sab tum lelo" was very sweet. Amba does not know the goodness Dev has done with people so she can never be a good judge of reading people who will help Dev behind the scenes and i like this. The 90's wala part was fun

4. I actually like the police officer's entry. I am glad the makers decided to get Hamla to sort their mess themselves rather then drag ViDev in this as well as the saviours! they already have enough happening at their end. Some how i think Vijay, Rakesh's murder and Amba's end will all intertwine with each other and this lady officer will be of assistance. I am enjoying this, at least to me she didnt seem shady yet (@sns23 - i also thought Bimla changed for a sec)

5. Lastly the Chitra part, i dont think they wanted to make it look like she was kidnapped. I thought the plan by ViDev was to make her do that phone call to the police to put it on record that she is suffering at the hands of Amba and Vikram so she ran away and thats why they threw the phone so no one can trace her afterwards but you guys might be right too.

Just like Amba didnt throw them out overnight, i dont want Raichands to win overnight too. Achi fight honi chahiye and then victory. Overall very good week of episodes. Mujhey bohat maza aya

love it!

Reg Amba : in her own twisted way I think she did love him and want him. I feel sorry at times because such is the tragedy of unrequited love. She misread him completely and made up a story in her own head. It happens in real life too - unless one is able to completely rise above it, accept rejection and move on, it’ll destroy them. Which is why the why her and not me factor plays such a big part. Of course now she is too far gone - having stooped to murder.

I’m hoping Kaushik stays the way he is - he is a genuine friend and dev hasn’t had the company of a good friend in a long while.

The police officer lady seems to be an interesting character - I hope they flesh her character out well. With all the women they have on the show, not one is a smart logical strong character - each one is a different extreme. So I hope this one is written vetter.

Will wait to see how the rest of this plays out. But like you said it’s been good this week!

Appreciation and Suggestion Post

I wanted to do this for the show because i had stopped watching ITV shows for a very long time. The last thing i saw was IPKKND (which was butchered so badly in the end) and then NUKSH's clips came on my TikTok feed and thats how i got hooked on to the show

Plus points

1. The ML is not toxic. He doesnt scream for no reason, is respectful and chivalrous towards the FL and everyone else and values relationships despite having a troubled childhood too such as losing his mother and Iqbal has played it to perfection. So thankyou for showing a positive side on TV in contrast all the toxic love that is available elsewhere

2. The makers did take some feedback that was being constantly put to notice and have revisited the story as we can see much improvement in the story line and performance. I think the actors put their foot down in some places too as Rachana kind of said that the script triggers them but Iqbal covered it lol

3. Despite the drama, the stereotypes they are challenging is very pleasing to watch in a subtle way and i wish such shows got more ratings for the betterment of our society

Suggestions

1. Once Dev comes back in control, i want a office party sequence and Vidhi all dressed up to attract Dev. Thora toh spice up hona chahiye please!! 😉

2. Koi light hearted track for a couple of weeks. Jabse ViDev confessed, sirf stress horaha hai, unko bhi aur hame bhi 🤪They only time we got to smile wholeheartedly was during the wedding episodes warna kiston main romance horaha hai

3. Dev's look in the beginning with the brown hair and salt and pepper mix was really good and needs to come back. He's only 41 (in my head) par uske ilawa sabke baal kaale hain

4. Vidhi's studs in the pink dress (When she wished eid) was very nice, implementing that simplicity and change of hairstyle would make us all happy considering ham kitna troll karte hain un earings par

5. They need to slightly revisit Vidhi's characterization as well. The period between Hamla finding out and Dev's wedding, Vidhi's character graph was excellent and the performances were top notch. She was innocent yet mature, they need to bring that essence back. I felt the we saw a glimpse of it when Vidhi wished HBD to Dev at midnight. She was innocent yet showing her love full fledge

Just felt like sharing some thoughts with you guys

Loved this perspective. I have wondered why I have stuck to this show for so long and I think your points above reflect my sentiments to a great deal. I think the biggest thing has to be dev’s characterization. There are sometimes where I feel like what is he doing, and why isn’t he doing X Y or Z. But at the core of his character, Dev is a good person, a genuine person who doesn’t talk big, no big gestures etc but let’s his actions show his intent and his principles. That has been such a refreshing change from the norm - like you said MLs who get upset angry touchy touchy for no reason.

Vidhi’s character was well written too - but I was mighty disappointed with how they butchered it during that divya track. Before she got married, she was a woman of little words and a lot of thoughtful actions. But since she got married it feels like the writers decided that she needs to be the reincarnation of whatever perfect bahu they each have in mind. I really cannot stand her tall dialogs and lectures - I think that aspect of hers needs to change. Yes she is supportive - but I don’t think she needs to be gyaan vaani like she is the authority on everything.

Dev used to say that she in a very simple manner says deep things. There were instances where that were very true - eg, when dev and vidhi get into a fight about priya and abhi and she says they’re family. Why wouldn’t you say anything. That was simple. I miss that aspect. I think they are really trying to tone it down. But it is hit or miss.

I would love to see a light hearted track - would be bonus if it’s around Kaushik - he brought some much needed comic relief into the show these last couple of episodes.

I agree too. I want Vidhi's old look back- The look that Dev Raichand fell for.
