I didn’t see iota of hurt maybe split sec when she was giving we are done monologue infront of that lady!See he always maintains the decorum and respect infront of others , in private he may shout by he never insults her or let anyone insult her ! Yaar have you forgotten the way she accepted, enjoyed and was receptive to his physical touch and romantic attention in E21-23 (e.g. gajra, dance scenes). In E21-23, she had already progressed from denying her attraction to openly accepting it. Her fake denial now in E36-38 just seems a step back.
We already heard Murtasim assert that Merub loves him in E25 when he says to Haya haan woh (Merub) pyaar karti hai aur ek din chilla chilla kar bhi bolegi. In E27, he tells MB hojayegi usse qadar (Murtasim ke pyaar ki). So we saw him be confident and vocal that she'll love him more than 10 episodes ago. Again, what is happening now seems a step back.
If there relationship had done some significant backsliding in the last 10 episodes, I wish it was better established. as to why are we back to square one - as if any of the events between E20-30 did not happen.

The last 10 epis were messed up in terms of progression and continuity..
But here I'm assuming that murtu is happy to know that they both have the same quality, both are insecure and jealous when their spouse is with the opposite gender.
