How is it possible that Mariyam doesn't realize what a big player her so called love is? How come she doesn't know it's Malik. Itni badi rivalry hai and no one knows. Woh banda ghar tak ghus gya but Khan Haveli mein no one realized. Difficult to digust.

Low key disappointed with Meerub. She tends to question everything KMK does but why not question Anas. Now that the family knows, why will she go and meet him alone....

I just hope Mariyam doesn't do anything jiska blame Meerub per aye. I don't think she would ever agree or help Mariyam in eloping.

Agree. Not very hurt. In fact I think Bakhtu was right. He knows his Malik. Murtasim most likely did see them (he turns before entering the gate) and had a few minutes to mentally prepare for Meerab showing up. Therefore, seemed calm. Plus this showed him she’s falling for him- there wasn’t much complaining he could do. He’s liking her jealousy and insecurity regarding him.

Yaar have you forgotten the way she accepted, enjoyed and was receptive to his physical touch and romantic attention in E21-23 (e.g. gajra, dance scenes). In E21-23, she had already progressed from denying her attraction to openly accepting it. Her fake denial now in E36-38 just seems a step back.

We already heard Murtasim assert that Merub loves him in E25 when he says to Haya haan woh (Merub) pyaar karti hai aur ek din chilla chilla kar bhi bolegi. In E27, he tells MB hojayegi usse qadar (Murtasim ke pyaar ki). So we saw him be confident and vocal that she'll love him more than 10 episodes ago. Again, what is happening now seems a step back.

If there relationship had done some significant backsliding in the last 10 episodes, I wish it was better established. as to why are we back to square one - as if any of the events between E20-30 did not happen.

In particular, I had 4 questions but no answers. if your analysis can reflect on some of these, it wud be gr8:

• What was the relevance of the three lines to the event preceding the monologue when she did a chaapa on Murtasim. What triggered these lines?
• Why now - to me the monologue (and these lines) would have made made more sense after the accident or the gunshot or even next week - once he reveals his chahat (bares his soul).
• We know Murtasim do all three - when did Merub? I can recall some events but not enough to correspond to all three.
• How does it link to ishq/mohabbat conversation? Is this conception of love same or different?

I don’t think they’ll bring it up again. It was a TRP stunt. But I do think realistically her conflicted feelings make sense in light of the thappar

Separately, I certainly do believe there is history between them in that Mu always liked her from childhood but she always “fought” with and “hated” him. He probably always sought her out like those boys who pull the ponytails of girls they like and she took it as dislike. Few dialogues made me think so

1) after the accident Meerub says “jitna door bhagti hoon utna hi hamesha sar pe sawar rehte ho”

2) wedding night she says “tumhari dil ki murad puri ho hi jaati hai”

3) chain scene where he says tum bhi to mere haath aagayi

I doubt, however, that it came to dating or kissing. At most Mu must’ve strongly hinted his feelings to her at some point when they were younger and she must’ve ruthlessly shunned them. (And she probably had a crush on this ghalib guy who, unbeknownst to her, happens to be Murtasim) Hence his return “hate” and “bad mood” whenever Meerub would visit

At one point I also wondered if Meerab was his chahat. Had Ma Begum dismissed the idea (intentionally) by saying she was an outsider and had she forced Murtasim to give up his plans regarding Meerub? Maybe she orchestrated Waqas’s move to Karachi so as to separate Mu from Me. Then Ma Begum later revisited the idea when she found out Anwar was planning to give all his property to Meerub and not Murtasim like she’d always assumed. Ultimately I think his chahat is either a calling he gave up or Meerab herself.

Just some theories I’ve cooked up in my head
