Same here Carl... ye show hi dekh loon bas bahut hain mere liye, SP ke TRP toppers but high on toxicity shows I can't stand... and nothing looks different on ITV anymore, similar concepts, setups, costumes, mujhe to dialogs bhi similar lagte hain across shows...

Though I did read somewhere that Raghuvir Shekhawat (the original writer for this show) has turned producer now and has come up with a new show on some other channel.... I am interested in watching his new offering (at least initially) because he did a fab job building a great story for NUKSH... but don't think I have time, bandwidth, or energy to sustain another show now!

Nuksh se milta julta show banayega to I will watch for sure.

Sometimes Vidhi acts so dumb doesn't she understand that Dev can get hurt by this.

There is still lot for Vidhi to understand.like Her relationship with Husband should come first and all other relations later but she keeps prioritising other relation and gives them more importance than with her husband

the offer to remove gangu’s photo dint bother me much - precisely because of this. They are everybody’s everything else before being each other’s partners. It is something that goes unsaid most of the time.

Even otherwise I don’t think it was that bad - vidhi knows only satya - of course she wouldn’t want her to feel uncomfortable and more importantly she knows dev wouldn’t want satya to feel uncomfortable. had dev shared more than the 2 minutes they had in front of his moms photo months ago, she would have a better perspective.

Forget vidhi - I really really want dev to prioritize vidhi over everyone else. Over chithra, abhi, satya etc. Only then she will also start prioritizing him over everyone else.

Iss show mein mujhe ab sirf Dev Raichand se matlab hai, everyone else am just tolerating because sometimes I don't have an option....

This still continues to be decent time pass for me. ViDev together make it enjoyable, other than when she becomes gyaan vaani. Although, I am done with ITV for a good amount of time after this. My mind can’t take anymore games. I don’t even want to know what else is on ITV.

The last month has been hard to watch, but this week is a little better.

Aaj ka episode bhi accha tha - interesting tha.I’ll try to split it up by what happened.

Quick update

Amba and Yogesh are talking and Yogesh is like - dev is a phoenix - he will rise from the ashes. Amba tells him not to worry that she has Dev’s jaan in her house - Chitra.

Vidhi and Satya go to chithra’s room (they’re outside her window) and they ask her to pack up and leave. Chithra is not sure, but trusts vidhi and satya.

They’re going in the auto, where vidhi makes her call the police, pretend like she’s in trouble and throws her phone away.

There is a lady who comes and prays to milapini maiyya (for a second I thought bims was being replaced). Hamla make small talk with her and give her prasad. Turns out she is a police inspector - Durga Devi - she is concerned seeing all the boxes. But hp manages the situation saying he’s storing it for someone. She tells him if they need anything they can always come to her.

Dev and Kaushik (sorry for the name goof up yesterday) are practicing -Kaushik is over acting -dev asks him to tone it down a little. Amba is on her way a Kaushik gets a call saying she’s there, dev starts pretending to beg him for a job. Amba opens the door and sees this - she is upset seeing dev so helpless. Kaushik sends him away and feeds amba with the story of how he wants to see dev suffer and humiliated. Amba at first is furious saying you want to insult my dev? That right is only mine. But then she remembers how dev threw the ring away etc and then becomes strong and says do what you want. Treat him how you want, but keep me updated. She leaves. Kaushik is thrilled his acting worked.

he sends a text to dev with the update. Dev is thrilled but sees Amba coming his way so he looks morose. Amba sits down next to him and he moves away. She goes close. He is uncomfy. She tells him that this is the result of his choices. Taunts him about how he’s staying in his mothers house etc etc. She tells him, he knows how he can get everything back and leaves. Dev doesn’t say anything - but is thrilled his plan is working.

Vidhi calls him and lets him know they have chithra.

Episode ends.

Precap - dev and Kaushik are planning - dev tells him that they have to target Yogesh - make them weak.

Loved the episode - esp the dev and Kaushik parts. It was very natural, finally they got a side actor who can atleast match the leads.

I have some thoughts about dev and Amba. Amba is literally harassing dev and throwing herself on him - this has been going on from day 1. If the roles were reversed and Amba was being harassed - it would definitely been taken more seriously. Dev is not wrong in what he says to chithra - about how she made him strip - whatever it was, it was still wrong.

I think a lot of times, society in general doesn’t take a man who is receiving unwanted/undesired attention seriously. I wish they show this perspective in a nuanced way.

Off my soapbox now. Devs discomfort near Amba is written all over his face and person - that sent me down this train of thought.

I m loving this chess game type thing between dev n amba and everything depending on pawns like yogesh (business) and Priya (mansion)
