Kuch ankahi is good. It reminds me of classic pak dramas. If you can make peace with the fact that Bilal and sajal won't have a huge chuck of screentime then it's a good watch.

I watched diyar e Dil and it was too emotional. One of my favorite. The relationship dynamics were beautifully carved in it. I didn't watch parizaad for unknown reason 😆. Yeh Raha Dil was a good entertainer but story only moved in circles, still I enjoyed watching it. Yumna Zaidi's one of the best performance in my eyes was as Hayat. I didn't watch the rest two as well. I may watch it in future ❤️

I watch Kuch unkahi seldomly because sometimes some scenes of family doesn't makes sense to me and looked forced. Actually I mostly skip Aaliyah and Salman's scene because Aaliyah's attitude is actually too over for my taste, whereas Salman is a very endearing person to be talked in this manner. It's just my opinion. I actually look forward to leads who behaves with each other in same manner, where if one is over then another one must behave the same way.

The most intriguing character is of Azfar because it's very shady and Sheheryar munawar nailed it. That's the character I look forward too the most.

By the way has anyone noticed that nowadays in dramas the attitude of both leads are opposite. I don't mind it but I feels like it could be dealt in a better way. In Alif both Momina and Momin were different yet their differences were dealt and showcased intelligently. Similar was the case in Diyar e Dil.

Aaliya and Salman behave the same way with each other. Nowadays salman is the one showing attitude 😆. Aaliya tried to pacify and talk it out with him multiple times but he won't even give her a chance. When he is rude he is way more rude than Aaliya has ever been. Neither salman nor Aaliya or any of the character in the drama are perfect or flawless. Salman came off as flawless and charming for 12-13 episodes but they started to show his insecurities and flaws. They come off as equals in every way. Azfar and shagufta have more grey shades to them making them more interesting.

I am only watching yunhi and kuch ankahi nowadays and the only difference is the fls arent crying around and the mls ain't walking with a gun in their hands and threatening people😆. In yunhi also dawood is extremely conservative but since kim is the one out of her natural habitat and only one being judged by literally everyone she speaks out more. They both have stereotypes about each other's lifestyle and culture. The only difference is kim is more vocal and dawood barely talks.

Yunhi has a very tranquil effect to it and I love this thing about the serial. About characters then I would say that both Kim and Dawood are not appealing because Dawood is very flat with no shades to him in my eyes, whereas Kim is being too absurd sometimes. Being an overseas myself I expected better from her. Stupid and absurd heroines are borderline irritating for me. I want flawed heroine who actually makes sense like Zubiya in YKS.

I don't mind arrogant heroes having grey shades, walking with gun as long as they make sense and do not cross the line of toxicity, because such characters have a lot of depth and are interesting to decode for me, as they are unpredictable.

Heroes like Dawood, Saad and Armaan are just too easy to predict but I appreciate humans like them, except Saad since he doesn't looks like a human with brain 😆
