my guess is Murtasim’s real or step brother and what if Murtasim is Ma Begum’s step son and this guy is the real deal? She took Murtasim as her own when he was very young

I had also theorized in the past that shahnawaz uncle must’ve done bewafai. My reasons were

1) Murtasim says he hates women Jo Mardon ko apna haseer banati hai-does he hate his birth mother?

2) Ma begum sides with Meerab and says yes you should keep an eye on your husband. It almost seemed like she was giving advice from her own experience

3) Murtasim asks Ma Begum “mein apke liye kya hoon” when they have a talk about getting married to Meerab. Their relationship is nice but she also seems a bit strained

4) Murtasim says is baar nahi rukunga when he brings Meerab back after the accident. Was his brother getting kicked out for following his dreams and Murtasim was going to leave with him but stayed back to fulfill Ma Begum’s ahsan on him for adopting him

5) at one point Murtasim tells Meerab Ma Begum has been through a lot

6) how poetic would it be that both Meerab and Murtasim are adopted kids

7) Murtasim went bonkers when he found out Meerab is adopted. This was a very odd reaction. He screams “kya wo le palak” hai? Was he projecting?

Maybe Nooran wrote a more intricate story than we were expecting
