In kasauli first when abhi met akshara at Mr. Sharma home he gave a sweater to abhinav, shawl to ak and sports shoes to abhir. Ak packed sweater and shawl that day for charity. When abhir thought ak will give away those shoes too ak said whatever is given by doc he can have it she won't take them.

This shows ak ka longing for her kid to be accepted and known as abhimanyu ka beta.

Their are several moments where when abhi and abhir have their baap beta Or docman junior moments ak won't come in between them. Which she never stopped or intruded.

When abhi was ill she called abhi with haq of father saying " Bete ko tumari zarurat ". Later when abhi learnt truth and said baap ka haq mera bhi. Akshu though scolds him and challenges him in anger she let him do what he wants for his kid like getting doctor from USA or getting birla hospital help to go to USA.

These all are akshus heart felt wishes against her mind words and fears of multiple rejections, kid acceptance or rejection, if accepted kid getting snatched from her. All the blames and destruction that comes along with it again.
