Anwar said that no body raised a hand on a woman in their family in all those generations. So I would take it as something which is taught to men of the family not to raise their hand on a woman. I assume that Murtasim, a man of principles should also have been taught that. He holds his principles high. Didn't he remember that he should not raise a hand on a woman?

chup kar inkar kaise kiya? I get her point because Murtasim himself said that why he should say no to the marriage and asked her to say no to the marriage. So Meerab saying that was understandable.

She used 'Beghairat' word. He should have said that he was not the one and she was the one.

If she was pushing him, he could also push her.

The slap was not happened in the heat of the moment. He used his strength and slapped her hard. He should not have done that.

I did not find his apology sincere. It was too casual. He said sorry and started giving explanation on why he slapped her.
