I think Khushi has some plans in mind for that money she asked for. She must have just asked for the amount she needed to do something. Maybe the NGO will move to a new location. Or another NGO maybe?

Ur way of penning the story is superb but I still can't digest that Arnav cheated on sweet Khushi what so hurry to sleep with that bitch Lavanya when he has already decided to part from Khushi, he could have divorced her then go busteing around as many when the poor girl has dedicated her 10 years to him this is literally injustice to her I want both Arnav and Lavanya to bear severe burnt should be exposed publicly (sorry for being emotional but can't see injustice happening to Khushi)

That's so sad. Arnav had a plan etched in his mind as to how he would broach the topic and how Khushi would react. But Khushi's reaction is totally opposite. Arnav isn't able to handle this. No alimony and no discussion. She is just leaving him. She is heartbroken too but I think she just wants to leave him bcoz she thinks Arnav would be happy that way.

I am choking, shaking and crying and I have read just the last half of the story. Couldn't read the whole, didn't found the courage.

The restlessness of khushi of not having him anymore in her life-- i had to put my phone away for sometime to breath normally.

Why would you even decide to write a story so nerve wrenchingly painful? My goodness.

I seriously want to read the story after you have completed or atleast when there are enough updates, but still i find myself checking this space everyday, reading everyone's comment, the replies, everything. This is so absurd.

Your writing is so descriptive that i almost feel like i am watching all the scenes in the screen.

Is there more into arnav's decision of separating?, the last line made me feel so.

I will write something more may be, after I read the whole update which is not now definitely.

"Zaroori thaa" by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is what i keep associating with this story.

You are right that her not fighting for their marriage is because she knows Arnav would be happier if she is not in the picture.

Arnav musings that Khushi stopped trying to make things work in last few months,stopped attending the galas and her comment to Aman that Arnav cannot stand her presence all confirms your observation.

I dont think core traits of individuals change and we saw a glimpse of that when she made their first home livable,argued with him that the meager savings was well spent. She had sensed his unspoken needs and believed that the two were in this together.

A conversation took place between the two then and she may have tried again in the present and it was not effective.

Why it is just about his happiness and not both is a different discussion I guess.

As someone said relationships are a living,breathing organism that needs to be reinvented,infused and refueled. We tend to forget that 🙃
